User questions & answers
Question: | does it include an ac adapter |
Answer: | Hi, Thank you for your question. The touchpad feature is not compatible with iOS devices |
Question: | Does the roland a-88 mkii work with ableton live 10 standard |
Answer: | Yes, if you have something to prop it on. The keyboard bends almost completely in half both directions on the hinge. It won't support itself propped open with the weight of my hands on it, but if I used something to prop it up on that would work. The backside is quite smooth, so it will slide. Probably want something with a lip to keep it from sliding off. |
Question: | Are they fully weighted keys |
Answer: | Yes, I get the occasional double strike or missed space. I attribute this to my typing skills and the reduced size of this keyboard. |
Question: | What is the actual width of the keyboard? Roland website says 55 inches, here it says 60. Can someone measure please |
Answer: | Dear Seller & Viola DeGamba, We're all aware that when this keyboard was introduced, that the trackpad did not work with iOS and that the seller restated this on July 30th. HOWEVER, there have been updates to iOS 13 and the new iPad OS that allow some mouse and trackpad functionality. This can greatly expand the market for this keyboard. So I ask that you specifically test this on iOS 13 or iOS 13.1 following the instructions for setting up a BlueTooth pointing device and let us know before iOS users skip what looks like a great product here and buy from your competitors. Question: | Is it weighted |

Question: | What is the build quality of this keyboard? Including the body and keys? Thank you |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | I've read that this keyboard may have slightly narrower keys than full-sized. Can anyone confirm and if so, is it a problem with playability |
Answer: | Yes, it is full size. The 49 keys are 26.5 inches wide, which makes one octave about 26.5 / (4 1/7) ~ 6.4 inches. In mm it is 673mm / (4 1/7) ~ 162.5 mm per octave, where modern pianos usually have 164-165 mm. The next standard size on pianos, so-called "15/16", is ~154 mm, so the size of keys on this piano is really full size (well, 1mm narrower). |

And it’s not just a scratch pad for simple ideas. You can produce fully-fledged professional tracks or create backing tracks and accompaniment for live performance.

The MC-101 has a four-track sequencer optimized for creating today’s electronic and dance-focused music. You can use the 16 RGB pads to create drum, bass, and synthesizer patterns and produce your own original music. Explore a musical playground, where you can freely combine loops and one-shots with melodic phrases including your own MIDI sequences and imported audio recordings. User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be used as a Midi controller as well |
Answer: | As of 12-2015, this keyboard comes with Ableton Live Lite. Not sure when the change was. |
Question: | I have watched some impressive videos with this thing that leave me wondering.. Just how long can your sequences be |
Answer: | It is not weighted. |
Question: | For the same price as the korg minilogue, i'm torn between the two. do the features of this enable it to sound as smooth and less dubsteppy |
Answer: | Honestly it's much better than anything else I could find. Solid build and the keys are great, other keys have a cheap feel but the keys on the A300 are much higher quality. The body has some weight on it but that's what makes it sturdy. |
Question: | i just bought a Roland juno ds-88 and wonder if sounds can be downloaded into the juno |
Answer: | One comment talking about "shorty keys" is inaccurate. These keys are standard size keys for a synth keyboard. Maybe the person complaining about the "short keys" was looking for piano-sized keys in a Synth. |

Question: | is there a bag made for this? or something that comes close? all the keyboard bag I saw are around 15" in width, while the keyboard is 12 any recomm |
Answer: | Yes, it has enough area capacity for second monitor, the dimensions of the desktop are about 15.7 x 35.8 inches |
Question: | Does this keyboard have drum patterns |
Answer: | I am sorry that I don't understand your question. The keyboard tray is fixed and can only be removed using a screw driver. There is a part of the keyboard tray ( about 4 inches)which is under the desk. I think the purpose of this is to save space. If the tray is movable, it would be great. But I only pay $99.99 for a 36-inch desk so I have no complaint about that. Overall I am satisfied with it for the quality and price. |

The Mobile Synth For Ambitious New Musicians
Life moves fast as an upcoming musician or ambitious new band. When you’re racing between rehearsals, sessions and shows, you don’t have time to spend with a bulky, complex synth that’s difficult to use. The Roland JUNO-DS61 is the ultra-portable modern synth that can keep up with your band life. Lightweight, compact and powerful, this 61-note instrument is always ready to go, with easy operation and instant access to pro onboard sounds that let you create or perform music anywhere from street to studio. The JUNO-DS61 is the easiest way to start playing a keyboard with the band, with the flexibility to continue supporting you as your music progresses.
Travel like a guitarist
If you want your band to get noticed, you need to get out there. Whatever you’ve got in the diary, the JUNO-DS61’s compact size and 11.7lb weight means it’s easy to transport, load in and set up, so you’ll never have to turn down a career-making gig across town, miss a vital band rehearsal or arrive late to a recording session. As a modern musician, you’ll do most of your recording on a home computer using a DAW – and the JUNO-DS61 has everything you need, no extra gear required. With optional battery operation for street performance, and a mic input that lets you create pro vocals without external gear, the JUNO-DS61 is ready for every scenario the music industry can throw at you.
Create your signature sound with ease instantly
Some synths make you stick with the factory settings, which can leave your music sounding generic – but the JUNO-DS61 is wide open. The instant-access design lets you call up pro sounds in seconds. Even if this is your first synth, it’s simple to dig into an array of adjustable parameters and create your own voice. Select the performance mode and you can set up advanced sounds like layering strings onto the acoustic piano, or assigning organ and bass to your right and left hands respectively. Create and tweak patches, shape sounds during a song with hands-on controls, and connect expression pedals via the rear panel to take your performance to the next level.
Stand out from the crowd with unique vocal effects
If you’re a solo performer or singer/songwriter, you’ll love the JUNO-DS61’s mic input, which lets you get great vocal sounds without having to carry around extra gear. There’s a dedicated vocal reverb, plus Auto Pitch for singing with the “stepped” electronic vocal effect popular in today’s music. The built-in vocoder is inspirational too, allowing you to sing into a mic and control the tone and pitch via sounds played on the keyboard. If you want to jam but don’t have bandmates available, you can add instant beats under your keyboard parts using the JUNO-DS61’s eight Phrase Pads, or copy audio data (MP3/WAV) to the USB memory and play along with full-band backing.
Keep your music up-to-date with free downloadable sounds
The JUNO-DS61’s onboard sounds and editing capabilities are just the beginning. This modern instrument also supports internal waveform expansion via USB, bringing the best synth sounds from the web into your performance. Use the versatile EXP-06 Studio Collection preloaded in the wave expansion slot, then choose your favorites from over 1000 EXP patches available for free download at Roland’s Axial website. You’ll find top-quality acoustic piano collections, world instruments, go-to studio standards, percussion, loops – it’s even possible to load in WAV files from your own sound library. And the free JUNO-DS librarian software lets you manage all these sound patches using your computer.

In a flash, you can build a full arrangement with the instrument’s huge array of sounds. And with continuous recording in loop mode, you’re able to fill up all 16 tracks without ever stopping! In addition to real-time capture, step recording is also possible, and you have complete control to edit and mix your tracks as you go and save songs as stereo audio files to an SDHC card.

User questions & answers
Question: | Why does this cost almost double the list price |
Answer: | yes |
Question: | Is this unit monophonic or polyphonic |
Answer: | There is a port in the back for headphones or speakers. It really doesn't need more volume if you intend to use it at home. I find that the volume control on the piano itself is more than enough for home use. |
Question: | Can i use a usb power supply on this? no way i am going to keep feeding it batteries, and it is staying in the studio anyway. tia |

Question: | Can you connect a tb-03 unit to a k25m keyboard? does doing that do anything for you |
