Question:	Should the violin mount work for electric violins? I just installed mine and the hook hits the lower tuner unless I rotate the hook 30 degrees
Answer:	I tested an 1/8 size violin on one and it worked, so I'd say the 1/4 size would be fine. It doesn't rest on the pegs; it rests on the hook shaped prominence of wood between the neck and scroll of the violin.

Answer:	Yes but only in the fully horizontal position assuming it is a standard 13 inch long 3\4 violin. The arm itself is 12 inches, and the body cradle extends another 6 inches from the pivot point, so if you were to try to display it at an angle the instrument would not reach from the body cradle to the neck rest.

Answer:	It does not appear to. The double hook (base) easily swings 180 degrees. The single hook however is fixed as far as I can tell.

Answer:	I have the music stand version of this hanger and a Yamaha YEV 105 5-string violin. At first it didn't want to go in, but if you grab both of the arms and pull them apart like a wishbone, it will give just enough to allow the neck to fit in...and if you go too far you can push them back together. Use some finesse, don't KONG it, pull a little and check for fit...then repeat if needed.

Answer:	It should work with most electric violins depending on the heel of the headstock. If it has no heel or the heel is closer to the tuners than a traditional violin then it may make contact with the tuner. If it does then we recommend the CC15S which holds the violin by the body instead of just the neck.

Answer:	There are two holes top and bottom(bracket base verticle like in picture) About 3" between screw holes on center.

Answer:	The plate is 2 x 3.375" and the mounting holes are 2.5" apart on centers. Although we do make a slatwall version of this hanger also. Give us a call at 1888 455 6628 if you have any other questions.

Bow Holder Peg

You can hang your bow on the Bow Holder Peg. It is a modest design which can be used for hanging violins of multiple styles included viola. It is the perfect choice for displaying your precious violin. You can also just take it off the wall and play immediately whenever you want to!

Installation Instruction

1. Choosing a location,take into consideration environmental conditions such as sunlight, temperature, and humidity which could adversely affect your instrument.
2. Placing the mounting block on the wall and drive the screws into the drywall. Use a level to make sure the block is straight before you add the second screw.
3. If you are unable to tighten the screws, and the screw begins to rotate freely, then you will need use the drywall anchors to make the mount strong enough to support the weight of your instrument. If you able to tighten the screws, then you will not need the drywall anchor.
4. To install the drywall anchors first remove the block from the wall, then press the drywall anchor into the hole left by the screw. When the threads make contact with the wall rotate it clockwise until it is flush with the wall surface.
5. Install the U-shaped hanger on the wall. Thread the screws through the block and into the drywall anchors. Then screw the U-shaped hanger into the center hole of the block.
