Answer:	They are NOT in individual packets. All are in one packet. The strings inside the one packet are paired together. Example 1st&4th, 2nd&5th and 3rd&6th.

Answer:	These are the strings that Gibson installs on all of their J-45s (at least now - not sure about past J-45s). These are the strings I use on my J-45, my Gibson Hummingbird, and my Epiphany DR-500MCE Masterbilt. They have a beautiful sound to them, and it will give you that sound you first heard in the music store when you bought your J-45!

Answer:	These are strings for a 6 string guitar, NOT a 12 string. You can find a set of Gibson strings on Amazon for your 12 string though - I would highly recommend putting Gibson strings on your Gibson guitar. They will make a huge difference in sound quality!

Answer:	80/20s start out brighter in tone than phosphorbronze strings, but also dull/warm more quickly. Polyweb is a thicker coating around the strings than nanoweb and for this reason polyweb coated strings will be warmer than nanoweb strings. Essentially, nanoweb coated strings, due to being a thinner protective coating, play truer to an uncoated string while promising to give the same or similar lifespan as polyweb coated strings.
Question:	Do these pins fit Fender acoustic guitars
Answer:	The nanoweb coating is very thin, virtually invisible, feels and sounds more natural, and the string tone is far superior. The polyweb coating is too thick, feels too slick, the coating is visible with a somewhat milky color, and to my ear it has a muffling effect on the tone. The 80/20 bronze nanos are the all around best Elixer strings. Both, the 80/20 bronze and the phosphor bronze nanos sound great on Martins, but I definitely preferred the 80/20s on Gibson acoustics.

Question:	Can I put nylon strings on a guitar that use to have metal
Answer:	You can. You will need to do a neck adjustment to makeup for the lower tension. These strings are metal that the question was asked under.
Question:	Are the first 3 strings nylon
Answer:	No, they are plain steel as in other acoustic sets. Nylon would only be found on classical sets.
Question:	What would be the best string size to use on a used acoustic guitar to be played by a 9 year old boy
Answer:	The lighter the guage...the easier to bend. The easier to bend...the harder to control. Since its an acoustic guitar, i would start with 10's ...try .10 to .46. Thats a pretty standard guage. He should be able to tell if he would like a smaller guage in which case go to 9's. Better yet....take him to a guitar shop and let him try some different guage strings. If hes just strumming, he may like the 10's. When hes ready for more sophisticated play, and until his hands get larger and stronger, he may need the 9's. Happy playing!

Answer:	I have never had a neck bow on me but I feel it is safer to go no smaller than .010 on acoustic guitars. One of my acoustics has delicate, thin wood and is doing fine with these strings. You'll be OK.
