Question:	Can someone please guide me on how to tie the acoustic quick release strap? (Maybe a short video
Answer:	This is quite easy. Slip the tie string underneath all 6 strings on the headstock, just above the nut. Bring the tie string underneath the headstock and then slip the clasp that the string is attached to through the loop in the end of the tie string. Now the clasp and string are attached to your guitar headstock.
Question:	This does not seem to fit on my Fender acoustic guitar. It fits on one end but not on the bottom end of my guitar. Did this happen to anybody else
Answer:	Same here. Fit on one end but not the other, though in my case it fit on the bottom and not on the top. Mind you, (this was for an Ibanez EP5/10 electric acoustic) the stud it didn't fit is in a rather strange place and is just too short for the locking end of this strap. A pity: I really like the feel and design of this strap.
Question:	Can you please tell me exactly how the strap works? I cannot find out where to put the strap? I can get one side but not the other
Answer:	This strap only works if your guitar has 2 strap buttons. One button should be near the neck, the other near/at the end of the guitar body. My only complaint with the strap is that the hard plastic of the locking ends may mar the guitar's finish. The strap works very well and makes a very secure lock to the strap buttons. But, beware of scratching the guitar's finish.
Question:	Is the locking version of this product safe with a nitrocellulose finish
Answer:	Should be quite safe. Nitrocellulose finish's are very durable. The lock mechanism on the strap is plasic so I shouldn't hurt the finish.

Walker & Williams is a long time US crafter of high end leather goods that has been in business for well over 100 years and has recently started producing outstanding guitar straps.



Walker & Williams signature feature is their thickly padded straps, which are really comfortable but they are not easy to get strap locks onto. So they have developed this set of strap locks with a longer, deeper barrel, bless their hearts.



As you may have experienced, it can be a real pain to get strap locks to screw down even on regular guitar straps. With W&W’s double padded straps, it can be really challenging. The new XSL strap locks are machined with a longer barrel that solves that problem nicely both for the thick W&W straps and for many, many other brands of straps.



I managed to get some Schaller strap locks on my own W&W C-22 strap only by grinding down the washer until it was barely there and then smashing down the leather with vise-grips until I could just get the nut to thread on. It wasn’t fun and it looks pretty amateur too. With these new strap locks, it ain’t no thang. There’s plenty of the barrel showing through to use the proper washer and no problem getting the nut threaded on without a struggle. Nice. I like ‘em.



The new barrel is about 5/16” longer than standard strap locks and that's enough to make all the difference between trying to wrestle your strap locks on and having all the room you need.  



In addition, the W&W strap locks come with full sized US screws, so they won’t pull out of your guitar just when you're getting into the music like the wimpy metric Euro screws a lot of strap locks come with. And since the screws are stainless steel, they aren’t going to break on you either.

Answer:	I would think so, I've found if there a bit loose compared to the original screws, a toothpick will help the tighten up fine, also the stock screws stick up to high not allowing the strap lock to fit properly. Hope this helps you. Mitchell.

Answer:	Yes the buttons are different. the dual design allows you to use a traditional strap without locks. The original you can not use a strap without the locks. this is the only difference. I hope this helps.

Answer:	You have to think outside the box as far as colors go on these. Because it is chrome, you want to think like silvery, shiny bright chrome -- maybe hubcaps? But these are not silvery and not like at metal black color like spilled oil. Hover your mouse over the picture to blow it up and you will see the difference -- not shiny bright like a reflective silver type chrome but much darker but not quite "black" like black paint or oil. Just a dark shiny chrome.

Answer:	My Les Paul will not fit in the case with the strap and strap locks on. I always remove the strap withe locks attached and roll it up in the storage compartment.

Answer:	It is exactly 1 inch. It will lot overlap but might be right at the edge. I have these on 5 straps the the button doesn't over hang any of them.
Question:	Looking to not to replace the factory buttons on my gibson l.p. standard .. will they work for my l.p. , also how many come in a package
Answer:	They do what they're supposed to do. You may have to enlarge the holes on your strap to get the straplocks on, which means your strap will only be usable with the straplocks; that's the only caveat. Worth buying - yes.

Answer:	I think it can do that, but it would with a little extra muscle.

Question:	Couldn't I buy rubber washers at a hardware store
Answer:	I have only used it on raw corn, but I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it on cooked corn. You are holding the cob when you use it, so as long as it isn't too hot, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work.
