Question:	Just received this -- the lid caves into the base, so it does not close properly -- suggestions
Answer:	Gary, I would assume so. There is room to spare in each of the drum cases for standard sizes. I have a 5 piece Yamaha stage custom (Birch) set and these drums still had room in the cases. The Floor Tom case says it is 16 inch but my 17 Tom fit perfectly. That is really a difference of 1/2 inch per side. I think they will fit. You may have to consider the extended drum mount. My Toms have drum mounts that extend pretty far and they still all fit just fine.

Answer:	I'm very sorry it has taken so long to get back to you on this matter. The cymbal vault is NOT 6 inches deep as described. It is 4 inches deep. If this helps; the following is what I carry in mine: It comes with 4 cymbal "cushions". I put in the first cushion, then three cymbals -- 22", 18", 17" -- second cushion --- 14", then my two 14" hi-hat cymbals --- third cushion --- 12", 10", 8", 6" --- fourth cushion, then my 18" china type --- then the felt, washer & wing nut. Question:	How many cymbals does this hold
Answer:	I'm able to fit a 22" ride, 3 18" crashes, 13" hats and an 18" China no problem. It all depends on how deep the little "cup" is where the hole is located. I had a 20" China with a really deep cup - like 3" deep, and that wouldn't fit. I got a China with a really shallow cup and it fits fine. Probably would fit a 20" as well as long as the cup isn't deep.
Question:	Does the strap hold well? Does the case have a 'secure' feel
Answer:	Yes. I have a Pixel 3a and they work really well. They have good sound and are comfortable to wear.

Answer:	Yes. And also there is rubber contacts where the bottom cymbal rests and then four flat felt dividers to put between cymbals (about a foot in diameter). These are soft and very pliable. Finally there is a felt washer that goes between the top cymbal and the screw nut. Plenty of protection.

Answer:	Airlines have different rules and restrictions for the baggage they'll accept. Dimensions for this case are l 35.5", w 16.75", d 14.5". Weight is 20.6 lbs.

Answer:	No locking feature. Just two heavy duty plastic buckles that are very strong. (Just don't step on them;-) I haven't shipped this particular SKB case anywhere, but it does take a beating. This case has held up so good, that I bought another one to hold all our PA cables and extension cords. I have used the SKB Cymbal Vault case with handles and wheels on a gig to Germany and it held up great! I just placed another larger similar luggage strap, over the case straps to prevent accidental opening of the buckles.I highly recommend this case and any SKB product as they stand by behind their product with a limited lifetime warranty. I have needed to replace the wheels and buckles. They promptly shipped out replacements with no charge. Two thumbs up!

Answer:	My guess is that it would, although I am not able to measure mine right now. Your local Guitar Center should have a floor sample. The dimensions in the advertisement are not accurate, since it is more like 48x18x19.

Answer:	Definitely can take a beating. I'm confident I could take a bat to this thing and it wouldn't leave a scratch. Super heavy duty.

Answer:	I own this case and it is awesome. I currently store all my cymbal stands (dw9000 x7) and my roc-n-soc throne. Plus stick bag, cow bell, etc. all full it's heavy, but the wheels make it easy to cart around.

Answer:	Depends on how you load it up.. I have 7 cymbals, plus hihats, and it stands pretty well... the only hanguo I have is my 22” China Type...there needs to be a longer center screw

Answer:	The case is too big and heavy (cymbals inside the case: 22" ride, 18" crash, 16" crash, 10" splash, 16" china and 14" hi hat / all heavy versions from Paiste) to take it as a carry-on. I checked mine on an international flight as a "bag", airport security staff opened it to check what was inside, but case and cymbals arrived at the destination as they supposed to be. It weighs in total 17 kilos (close to 38 pounds).
Question:	Is the foam in the form of removable cubes
Answer:	It has 4 felts so it should hold 5 cymbals. As filling it up can be quite heavy, the fact that it has a handle and rollers is a real plus. My son loves it.

Answer:	Yes, but be sure to get the correct size. I purchased the wrong size for mine and had to return. Even the slightest size difference makes a difference.
