Question: | They look pretty close together. Can you put guitars in and out with bumping them against each other |
Answer: | 12 1/2” long |
Question: | Will this hold v guitars? like jackson king v's |
Answer: | You can purchase this stand but you really need the following arm which will take the place of the arm that comes with the stand: https://www.amazon.com/DW-DWSMTAMC-2-Inch-Tilter-Holder/dp/B004Y08BJY/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1537815953&sr=1-2&keywords=DW+mic+arm |

User questions & answers
Question: | How tall is this when open? I am wondering if it is low enough to hold ukuleles and mandolins |
Answer: | I don't have either of those guitars but just looking at my case, I think it will hold them. The limitation would likely be the height from the floor of the unit to the top where there are slots for the guitar necks to slide into. Right now, I have plenty of room between the guitar bodies and the top except for my Seagull acoustic which only has about 2 inches from the body to the top of the unit. With the explorer you could probably position it so the horn by the neck will stick out of the case and not be limited to the height. The warlock would likely be a tighter fit but not a problem. I really like my case and having access to all my guitars. Good luck on your purchase, enjoy! |
Question: | would the guitars sit in an angle or straight |
Answer: | Yes, it is not an issue for me. |
Question: | Will this fit a 335 or similar style semi hollow body |
Answer: | Yes! I have a Gibson Explorer and BC Rich NJ Beast that I store in this unit. They each require slightly different finagling getting them in there but once in they're snug. |
Question: | Can you close the case with guitars inside |
Answer: | I would definitely double check the dimensions of the guitar versus the dimensions of the case. Mine fits all of my different kinds of guitars perfectly but I don’t necessarily have your specific one. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I'm looking for a violin stand for a 14" long child's violin so very, very small. I'd like to display it on a shelf. Would this stand work for that |
Answer: | While Im not familiar with the size os a child's violin i can tell you that this stand is approx 10" tall. The base would elevate the instrument by almost 2" so your shelf height would have to factor this in. I ise it for my ikuleles as a floor or table stand. If your shelf is longer than it is high, you might position the instrument sideways. Worth a try if your shelf height is 18" or higher |
Question: | How dos it work |
Answer: | you just put your musical instrument (ukelele for example) on it and it holds it. |
Question: | Will it work with an instrument cable attached? These usually run out of the bottom |
Answer: | The photo of the stand is very accurate. I would think that if your cable bends easily as it exits the bottom of the instrument, it would fit fine with the cable attached. It appears you would have about 2 inches of clearance space for the cable to be able to bend 90 degrees, and not more. Obviously, the stand would not work for a cable exiting the back of an instrument, but it should definitely fit if the cable exits the instrument from either side. It's a nice, heavy stand, hope it works for you -- good luck! |
Question: | Would this work for an F-style mandolin |
Answer: | I have an F-style mandolin and it works fine with it. If you are wondering about the bottom horn don't worry, it doesn't come close to the floor, it cradles my instrument with no issues. There is a pad that the instrument rests on on the upper arm piece just fine. I kept an eye on it when I started using it a few weeks ago and the upper body of the mandolin sits on it quite adequately. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Photo shows stand with electric guitar, would the stand also fit a standard acoustic |
Answer: | Yes, the arms are long enough to accomodate an acoustic guitar. I play a Taylor 714CE (4-1/4” depth), it stays nicely on this stand/stool, with 1-3/4” to spare. One caveat with this unit, the arms are fairly low to the ground. If your acoustic guitar is equipped with an endpin 1/4” jack, I’d suggest unplugging the cable from the guitar before placing it on this stand/stool. |
Question: | Where is it made |
Answer: | No idea |
Question: | How many pounds (lbs) does this stool weigh? The Item weight on Amazon spec is .16 ounces which has to be incorrect |
Answer: | It’s very light and moveable. I would say it definitely weighs less than 5 pounds. It’s great quality and sturdy. Highly recommend. |
Question: | Does this chair swivel |
Answer: | No, the stool does not swivel. |

Question: | Is there any reason this would not work for a steel-string guitar? I guess most steel-string guitars have more weight in the neck and headstock |
Answer: | No |
Question: | Would this work for an acoustic Fender guitar |
Answer: | Yes! It should fit almost any acoustic guitar....Peace...Cls |
Question: | I am having a problem with this stand. It tends to fold and fall. How can I keep it in a stable standing position without gluing the creases |
Answer: | I've had no issue with this stand but I don't move it around and use is to support a classical guitar so there is not much weight on it... |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this hold my jackson randy rhoads flying v properly |
Answer: | Probably. I use it to hold my offset-body basses; they hang by the headstock in the top hook, with the back of the guitar body resting against the t-support. The bottom of the guitar body does not rest against any part of the stand, making it perfect for irregular shapes. As long as the the overall length of the Flying V shorter than a full-scale bass and the headstock shape is compatible with a U-shaped guitar hanger you should be okay. |

The Guardian holds 5 guitars securely, saves space and allows you an easy overview of your guitars. Ideal for use in the studio, on stage in a shop or at home. No matter whether you have acoustic, electrical or bass guitars, the special instrument-compatible supports protectively hold max. 5 guitars. The protective bars stop the guitars from rotating and prevent inadvertent removal or knocks or bumps when taking the guitars from the stand or placing them. The soft pads made of high quality thermoplastic elastomer have cushioning characteristics. Therefore they protectively take the weight of the guitar and avoid damages of the instrument. The innovative folding mechanism used on the Guardian allows the stand to be carried easily and it can be left standing upright. Highly flexible, sub-divided support arms with integrated pick holders mean the guitar can be held from either side (right or left) and that the strings are untouched. The structural design allows the Guardian to be positioned against a wall. The Guardian is available entirely in black or with translucent (colorless) elements made of high quality Elastomer plastic, which are suitable for all kind of guitar lacquers, including nitro lacquer. Discoloration from the stand to the guitar does not occur.
