| Answer: | Im not sure? But this pickup is very noisy and feedback is an issue! I perform live alot. So i hot the Neo-D humbucker from fishman with the $29 behringer acoustic DI and its the best sound ive had! The neo D with fit a 3 7/8" sound hole but i moded mine with a File to fit my old Parlor guitar so its possible! But the pre amp is a must if u dont have a Killer amp! Roland Cube amps work well on clean if your looking for a Killer small amp! |

| Answer: | Don't worry about the colors of the wires too much, it's what each one is connected to that matters. Assuming a simple design for your bass, either the yellow or red wire is grounded (usually soldered to the body of the volume pot) and the other is hot (runs to one of the terminals of the volume pot). On the BQLZR, the solo red wire connects to the hot. The black/bare pair connect to the ground. The green/white pair don't connect to anything - but throw a piece of tape over the end to insulate them. Good luck. No better way to learn than to jump in. |

| Answer: | You need to do more research on this. If you're 2 pickups are a P-bass configuration you would only need 1. But if they are separated by several inches (one near the bridge then the other up near the end of the neck) you could use 2. But you also need to measure your current pickups size because this pickup is a large pickup - easily 2 times wider than a single pickup. It may not fit into the body cavity for the pickup(s) on your bass. Unless you intend to route out or cut a new pickup cavity. Measure the size of the pickup cavity you have and compare the the size of this pickup. This pickup is a standard Music Man pickup size. |

I removed it and desoldered the ground to straighten the plate out and while I had it open completely removed the tape and found that they were waxed. |

Resistance Spec: Neck: 7.2 ± 0.3K; Bridge: 15 ± 0.5K In my case, the resistance of the red cabled pickup was 14.3K Ohms meaning it is the Bridge pickup. The black cabled pickup measured 8.3K Ohms meaning it is the Neck pickup. |

| Answer: | Magnet types will determine tone and dynamics. Alnico=aluminum/nickel/cobalt 2's will give you brown sound, 5's or V, will give you a brighter sound. The amount of winds of wire will determine output. Ceramic magnets are more common in hot pickups. Like dp100. Hope this helps. |
