If you have free returns through Amazon, I recommend giving it a try since the price is very competitive. The alternative is to visit a local guitar shop (in your area) and buy there. The price will likely be higher, but you can ask the proprietor if they price match from online (sometimes they do and sometimes they don't). Good luck.

Answer:	Yes, this capo still grips firmly even when it's slid down to bar all but the high E. The bottom 5 strings hold the proper tune that they should have with the capo on and the E stays E without issue.

Answer:	Sorry, I do not have an Ovation. The capo works well on my old Epiphone FT570SB Sheraton acoustic. Also on two electric guitars.

Answer:	I am not sure about the question but generally the tuning for drop d (DADGBE) is as follows:1. Tune your guitar in standard tuning.2. Play the 4th (D string) and 6th string together and turn the tuning key of the E string down (counter clockwise) until you are 1 step lower. It's important to go a bit below the pitch and tune up to match the 4th string (1 octave difference) to prevents the string from slipping out of tune.3. Then tune the other strings again.(http://www.guitarchordsmagic.com/drop-d-tuning.html)I am somewhat of a beginner but can say the Donner DC-2 capo is satisfactory to pretty good, for me in any event.It has a good curve and firm grip and looks good quality.

Question:	Can I use this as a partial capo on a 6 string to get 4 strings
Answer:	The Planet Wave NS "Drop Tune" Capo can do both 4 or 5 outer strings on my acoustic guitars. I've modified another one to do 3 outer strings.
Question:	Finish Damage? I used it once, worked GREAT! but when I took it off it left a streak where the finish came off my neck
Answer:	This may be due to the type of finish used on the guitar. Most guitars are finished using Polyurethane lacquer - it's hard, easy to apply, and can be applied in states and countries where regulation prohibits other types of finish such as nitrocellulose. It does not react with vinyl or rubber, and is found on guitars of all price levels. The same cannot be said of nitrocellulose (or the celluloid used in some vintage pickguards and picks), which is very reactive and care must be taken when choosing what products to use on instruments finished in nitro lacquer.This isn't a flaw in the product design or materials, but it may well prove worthwhile for potential buyers to check whether their instrument is finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer or Polyurethane and investigate products accordingly. If no finish type is stated on a new instrument, it is generally safe to assume polyurethane, in which case most products should present no risk.
Question:	does it need a reinforce neck
Answer:	It doesn't need anything. Works great.
Question:	I play live shows and need a QUICK change, like one movement, one hand, one second. Will this work
Answer:	After a few times using it, it does become pretty fast to put it on/take it off/move it, using a quick turn of the tension screw with one hand ... but I don't really think it's going to ever work the way you're hoping (i.e. one movement, one second). Realistically, it would be more like a 2-3 second change at best. The Kyser would be perfect for that, but in my experience, it has too much tension and throws the tuning off. The Shubb ukulele capo might be a good compromise ... adjustable tension and quicker clamp/release.
