Answer:	This capo is FLAT, not CURVED. If the electric guitar doesn't have a flat fretboard, this capo don't works, but there are others who adapt well.

Answer:	Squeeze the handle on the side back against the neck and then with your other hand open the gate on top. I had one of these years ago and loved it. I bought a new one here and kept it too long and could not return it. Its terrible and a really poor quality build. Obviously this company has poor quality standards on what they have fabricated.

Question:	Is there a way to "clip" this onto the guitar like a traditional capo
Answer:	if you mean to clip it onto the guitar when not really using it as a capo, ie. storing it for use later, then no. relative to a traditional jaw like capo, this is a slow install and removal and really no way to hook it onto another part of the guitar other than when it is installed on the neck.
Question:	Could this work for a telecaster with a 7.25 neck
Answer:	Yes. The metal bar is pretty much straight, but the plastic cover will conform to the fretboard. I have 2 Strats and 1 Tele...all vintage spec'd necks with 7.25 necks and this is the capo I use on them. I have a Schrubb capo designed for the 7.25 radius and I prefer the Hamilton. In my opinion I find the design of this capo is better because the pressure applied to the strings is equal across the fretboard. To my ears, clip-on capos and the Schrubb apply slight more pressure one side. Others may disagree, but I've found I have to tweak the tuning far less when I move the Hamilton capo around when compared to clip on designs. They are slower to adjust, in my opinion that's their only drawback.

Answer:	Yes it would fit just about any guitar. Fits my husband's gut string which he says is a classical style and has a wider neck even.

Question:	Is the one-touch capo easy to use? Because my arm is weak
Answer:	It is right handed . NOTE: Don't flip it . The intonation will be incorrect because the bridge saddle is asymmetrical like all guitars.

Answer:	I fell into the trap of being told I needed to get a left-handed guitar to play lefty. I struggled for decades trying to learn guitar. I would try, struggle, get frustrated, and repeat the process over and over. A friend gave me a ukulele, and rather than restringing it, decided to learn to play it upside down. Suddenly everything fell into place and made sense immediately. After struggling to learn guitar for decades, I now play a right handed guitars left-handed, that is, upside down in comparison to the majority of players. I also have also restrung left-handed guitars to play my preferred way. Ignore these fools telling you it can’t be done. Restringing it is very much a possibility so a lefty could play this. It will sound better if the nut and bridge are turned, but it’s playable without doing even that. I cannot believe how many fools (nearly if not all Right-handed, no less) spew such nonsense and screw it up for lefties. I have done it all, with changing the not and bridge, and without. If you don’t feel like taking all that on, just flip the strings and file the low E and A on the nit a bit. The intonation will be off a bit without flipping the bridge, but not a game stopper by any means.

Answer:	I know that this is slightly curved to match the necks of steel string electrics and acoustics, but because of its rubber surgace i think it will do fine. It is more universal than other capos ive used, and i think that for at least most of the neck of a classical it would do what it needs to.

Answer:	I bought both the "6 Rosewood Acoustic" and "E Electric Quick Change Capo". The rubber pad is 1/32 (.031") inch longer on the acoustic capo. The spring on the acoustic capo is stronger. The photos look like there is a rubber pad to protect the edge of the fretboard, but there IS NO PAD to protect the eedge of the fretboard. It is a piece of tape. It may provide some protection. The clamp leg could be longer. If you accidentally release before completely on, the end of the clamp leg may press against the neck.

Answer:	Yes, this capo still grips firmly even when it's slid down to bar all but the high E. The bottom 5 strings hold the proper tune that they should have with the capo on and the E stays E without issue.

Answer:	I am not sure about the question but generally the tuning for drop d (DADGBE) is as follows:1. Tune your guitar in standard tuning.2. Play the 4th (D string) and 6th string together and turn the tuning key of the E string down (counter clockwise) until you are 1 step lower. It's important to go a bit below the pitch and tune up to match the 4th string (1 octave difference) to prevents the string from slipping out of tune.3. Then tune the other strings again.(http://www.guitarchordsmagic.com/drop-d-tuning.html)I am somewhat of a beginner but can say the Donner DC-2 capo is satisfactory to pretty good, for me in any event.It has a good curve and firm grip and looks good quality.

Question:	Would this work as a partial capo to cover all but the bass E string? It needs to be able to still grip when slid over a bit to uncover the 1 string
Answer:	Yes, this capo still grips firmly even when it's slid down to bar all but the high E. The bottom 5 strings hold the proper tune that they should have with the capo on and the E stays E without issue.
Question:	does it work with ovation
Answer:	Sorry, I do not have an Ovation. The capo works well on my old Epiphone FT570SB Sheraton acoustic. Also on two electric guitars.

Answer:	I am not sure about the question but generally the tuning for drop d (DADGBE) is as follows:1. Tune your guitar in standard tuning.2. Play the 4th (D string) and 6th string together and turn the tuning key of the E string down (counter clockwise) until you are 1 step lower. It's important to go a bit below the pitch and tune up to match the 4th string (1 octave difference) to prevents the string from slipping out of tune.3.
