Answer:	Yes, it’s been changed. I noticed in the pictures that the screw looked to be attached beneath the tray and took a chance. While most of the screw support is now below the tray, there is a very small bump on the top of the tray as well, but it’s less that 1/32” (0.5 mm).

Answer:	I do not believe it would do damage to the paint. I have several guitars, but the only guitar I know the finish on is my Tele, which I believe has a poly finish. I don’t have any issues with the cable rubbing the edge of my guitar. I’ve also used it on a 50s Kay that I have, which is more likely to have a nitro finish, and I don’t have any concerns there either. Hope that helps.

Answer:	This is a very heavy duty music stand ... nothing flimsy about it. The back surface is very smooth, nicely finished black enamel with 2 very shallow (3/16") rivet heads securing the attaching mechanism. Mine is the SMS 22, which has a series of 1-1/2 or 2 inch cutouts to reduce the weight, but these should not interfere with what you are trying to do with it. The "lip" at the bottom is at least 1-3/4" wide. It should provide a very safe stand for your led display.
Question:	I'm looking for a violin stand for a 14" long child's violin so very, very small. I'd like to display it on a shelf. Would this stand work for that
Answer:	No shoulder strap, just a handle. I've sewed on D rings to other bags similar to this and used a spare strap to make my own shoulder strap. So, you could easily put one on, if you had the desire and the means.

Answer:	A guitar neck will probably not fit in it. It's only about 2" wide. This is the best stand I've ever had for a banjo, mandolin or ukulele, but my guitars won't fit in it. I they made one a little bigger with the same design it would be great.

Answer:	Front feet are 11 inches apart and the back foot of the tripod is about 13 inches to an imaginary line between the two front feet. I love these stands and have four I take to every gig. They're very light and fold into a very compact arrangement so they're easy to pack and carry. They are sturdy but being so light could be an issue if you fear someone bumping into your instrument or if you have a very heavy instrument that could make it top heavy, although I use one for my tenor banjo. The fold down arms that hold the instrument only extend out about 3-1/2 inches so it will not hold my tenor guitar or regular guitar. Great for mandolin. I love these.
