Chord Libraries: Guitar tab software may include chord libraries, making it convenient for users to insert commonly used chords into their tabs.
Editing Tools: These software solutions offer a range of editing tools such as copy, cut, paste, undo, redo, transpose, and more, allowing for efficient editing and arrangement of musical compositions.
Print and Share Features: Guitar tab software typically provides options to print the music in a readable format and share it digitally with others through email or social media.
Playback Speed and Metronome: Some software allows users to control the playback speed of the audio, making it easier to practice difficult parts. Additionally, a built-in metronome helps users maintain a steady tempo.
Compatibility and Integration: Guitar tab software may be compatible with various file formats, making it easy to integrate with other music software and platforms.
Educational Tools: Some guitar tab software offers educational tools like interactive tutorials, exercises, and practice routines to help users improve their playing skills.
Online Communities and Sharing: Users can often connect with a community of fellow guitarists within the software, sharing their creations, collaborating on projects, and receiving feedback.

If you wish to continue using our applications, which currently require 32-bit support, do not upgrade your operating system past Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave). Alternatively, you can retain an older Mac operating system on a separate drive partition. eMedia developers are currently working on software updates to support Catalina and future versions of macOS, but this is a major undertaking. eMedia is currently unable to foresee how long it will take to create these new versions. If you purchased your eMedia software on or after September 7, 2019, upon receiving proof of purchase eMedia Music will provide you with a free upgrade to a macOS 10.15 (Catalina)-compatible version of an eMedia application when it becomes available. User questions & answers
Question: | What kind of cable do you need to plug into you computer? Is it a 1/4" to |
Answer: | You won't get good results if you just plug directly into your line input jack with an adapter because the audio will be too low. You need some kind of preamp designed to convert "instrument level" signal to "line level." This type of solution is best because it has a headphone jack so you can hear the audio from the software as well as your instrument (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I916Q0O). You won't be using their bundled software with Bass Method. You just need the audio interface. Another solution is to put a USB mic in front of your bass amplifier. That way you can hear both at the same time. |
Question: | What is the difference between this and the yellow eMedia Bass for Dummies |
Answer: | eMedia Bass Method v2 is fully interactive. You plug your bass into your computer and it informs you if you are in tempo, in key, fingering the strings cleanly, etc. etc. Bass for Dummies is not....just another bass lesson dvd, albeit an excellent one. |
Question: | Has anyone installed this on a Windows 8 or 8.1 PC? Any issues |
Answer: | No trouble with win 8.1 professional. |
Question: | Does it work with Mac OS-X |
Answer: | It does! The current version of this product works with Mac OS X 10.5 to 10.13. Check the version number on your disc. If it is lower than the version number posted on our downloads page, then get the download version. You can use your serial number to unlock it just the same. http://www.emediamusic.com/software?product=BM1 -- Hope this helps! |

User questions & answers
Question: | How many uses do you get? As in how many times can it be downloaded from one disc |
Answer: | I think you can download it and use it all you want but will only have one serial key Soni don't know if you can use it on 2 different computers at the same time..... I never tried |
Question: | Would this be good for a person who has never played before, who wants to learn to play guitar |
Answer: | I am a fan of Guitar Pro 6 and use it for scoring songs and creating tabs for my students. Yes, there are lots of tabs of popular music that can be downloaded for Guitar Pro 6 to learn your favorite songs or licks. Now to answer the question truthfully, I would not recommend a person who has never played guitar before use Guitar Pro as a primary learning tool. There are some elements that are very important and can drastically shorting your learning curve. Such as proper technique, proper posture, proper practice strategies and other things that are critical, but too long to list in this question comment. Love Guitar Pro 6 but a good guitar teacher is best to get a beginner guitarist to an intermediate or advanced level in the shortest possible time. |
Question: | Do I need to buy a usb-to-computer interface or it's already included with Guitar pro |
Answer: | It does not come with a usb interface. If you want it to interface with the fretlight guitar (which is what I did) make sure you get the fretlight ready version of guitar pro 6. It costs a little more. |
Question: | Is there a difference between this physical copy of GP6 and the $59.95 digital copy from the company's website (other than the free songbook |
Answer: | There's no difference, 1 is physical copy and 1 is download version |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these latex free |
Answer: | No latex. I am allergic to latex and I have no problem with the bands. |
Question: | how many chord does this have programmed |
Answer: | Mine only have the 'C' programmed. I did buy mine at a brick and mortar shop though. I just needed help with my C program, and the really knowledgable tech I often deal with just handed me the pack that he thought was appropriate. I s'pose you'll need the proper grouping set for each program. Never really thought about it once the C got straightened out. 🤔 I WOULD suggest lithium batteries, I get better performance from them generally. Also, my Monster brand cables seem to make a BIG difference, at least to MY taste. Good luck! |
Question: | Is there a warranty for bands that break? I have 2 that split at pinky and between ring and middle finger |
Answer: | Check with the company. I'd guess not since they are really just heavy duty rubber bands. |
Question: | Will this train my pinky to move laterally with speed and precision so i can play, say a D#m |
Answer: | Playing D#m or practicing your scales correctly will train your pinky |

At 1.25”, you will want one for each stringed instrument you own.
- EXTREME ACCURACY – The NS Micro features an extremely accurate piezo transducer that picks up an instrument’s vibration rather than sound. A wide calibration range (410-480Hz) guarantees precise performance.
- EASY TO READ - The easy-to-read, tri-color backlit screen displays the note in red when out of tune, yellow when close, and green when in tune. Powered by a readily available (and included) CR2032 battery, you will enjoy maximum battery life thanks to the tuner’s auto-off function.
- VERSATILE - Featuring a 360-degree swivel mechanism and adjustable padded clamp, the NS Mini offers optimal viewing angles and maximum positioning flexibility. User questions & answers
Question: | How well does this work for a bass guitar? I've got a Snark that doesn't register well on my Fender Jazz bass |
Answer: | I wouldn't trust it to hold anything more than a couple of pounds. |
Question: | How can this work with any guitar case? It wouldn’t sit in there safely whatsoever. Very impractical |
Answer: | Sturdy enough to hold sheet music or an instruction book or tablet. |
Question: | Could i use this for intonation |
Answer: | No |
Question: | If I change the pitch to 432Hz, will it reset to 440Hz if I turn it off and back on |
Answer: | I use it for a Mandolin, so can't say for sure, but the width of the instrument's neck at the nut should be 1-1/8" or less, and the headstock should be wider than 1-1/8". If the neck fits in the opening OK you might need to suspend a dulcimer with the strings towards the stand because the top of the body behind the neck might interfere if you suspend it with strings facing out. The height of the instrument hanger is adjustable. |

User questions & answers
Question: | does it come with remote |
Answer: | Logitech S150 USB Speakers do not come with an earphone jack. They plug in to a USB port. They do have a Mute selection in addition to the High and Low volume, which is a neat idea so you don't have to fiddle with turning it down. Excellent sound. |
Question: | Is this the same amp/bag bundle listed on the Positive Grid site for $249. Dec |
Answer: | No, these are powered via USB |
Question: | Will the spark app run on Android |
Answer: | I bought a set of these speakers a few months ago. They work very well and I reccommend them highly. Remember these are USB speakers and the only connection you have to make is plugging them into an available USB port. You DO NOT need an addition audio 0r power cable. These speakers are most valuable for anyone having a lap top or desk top whose audio card or chip has stopped working. I am very pleased with mine. |
Question: | Question for amazon: does this come from amazon with a 2-prong power supply or 3-prong |
Answer: | It connects to USB, so it should be able to work as long as the device has USB. But it is meant for a monitor so it might look a little odd. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this good for a adult beginner with a left handed acoustic electric guitar |
Answer: | This is good for an acoustic guitar beginner but an electric guitar is recommended for the intermediate stages. Left handed or right handed the same techniques apply. |
Question: | Is this the same metal method as in the 80's. if it is, doug marks is awesome. great teacher and great lessons. worth ever penny |
Answer: | Thank you! I'm Doug Marks and really appreciate your comment. Now to answer your question, it is the same course as the 80's but radically evolved. This is the fourth major revision. If you check it out you'll find that even this old dog has learned a trick or two in thirty years. Thanks very much for the compliment. It made my day. Have a great New Year! |
Question: | how does it provide printable tab when these are dvd's |
Answer: | There is a section of the disk that allows you to download files. To access these files simply explore the disk. You’ll see the files. You can print the pdf tab or play along with the audio backing tracks. If you install the Guitar Pro app you can even play along with the animated tab. |
Question: | Is there anyway you could tape the dvd case closed when shipped? mine came open during shipping and all the discs were scratched |
Answer: | As you noticed, we pack the case tightly in a close fitting box. The case is cushioned with peanuts. This is the first complaint I've received that the case opened during shipment. Thanks to your comment, going forward I realize the case can still burst open so yes, they'll be taped shut in the future. Meanwhile, please fill out the contact from on the metal method website and we'll replace all damaged discs at no cost to you. |

Answer: | No. |
Product description
Intermediate Rock Guitar is the second of four Stages included in The Complete Rock Guitar Course. The program includes 2 DVDs or 2 Digital Downloads; on-screen, animated, play along guitar tab; bass and drum backing tracks (MP3); and printable guitar tablature. Course begins at week ten, ends at week 19. Program length 2:29.
Fundamental techniques will be demonstrated and explained as we move through the course. This includes a group of simple tricks that will sound interesting yet appear impressive. Techniques covered include vibrato, natural harmonics (chimes), pick harmonics, string muting, Van Halen style two hand tapping, bend-tap-release, and a fantastic chromatic exercise.
Throughout this section of the course there are many chord progressions that feature bass and drum backing tracks. This stuff is really fun to play. You’ll lose track of time. That’s always a good thing because it leaves you wanting more the next time you pick up your guitar. This is what motivates great players to excel. They look forward to every moment spent playing guitar. That’s so much better than checking the clock to see when your hour is up.
"I’m going into week 17. This course was exactly what I was looking for when I contacted Doug for the first time 3 months ago. I can’t explain how awesome this course is, and Doug is a top notch teacher. I’m studying this course weekly to keep the excitement level at a max. If you want to learn what is needed to play guitar purchase this course, you won’t be sorry." - Mark D

- Learn to play complete songs and build song list
