Answer:	Dave, unfortunately, no. It's close to 10-11 inches in diameter.
Question:	Does the handle extend
Answer:	There are no wheels with this bag. I have not used this bag out on the road yet but it seems to be made very well. Time will tell on how the zipper lasts as that is usually the first thing to go bad on anything bag or case.

Question:	Is it 36" length inside or outside
Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't think so. I use this bag to hold all the steel in my drum set: The stands, cymbal hookups and other nuts and bolts including some add-on hinges for tambourines, etc. It will fit all of those perfectly, but not a bass drum!This bag is useful more for vertical storage than things of that volume.

Answer:	This case is NOT awesome. It is exactly what you should expect at this price. It is essentially an open space. It has no foam lining or inside straps, simply smooth molded plastic. It does have a removable full sized insert to create a lower and upper storage space but the support bar is ill-fitting (yet basically functional). Mine came with no feet opposite the small wheels so the case does not lay flat on floor. The inside dimensions are 15" wide x 34.5" long x 11.75" tall.
