Answer:	Selmer no longer makers the formula you're thinking of, the one that was similar in color to this. They do make a tube formula that they call cork and tuning slide grease but its cork grease consistency, not the same as the other stuff.

Answer:	The Bach 3C is the number one step-up mouthpiece for trumpet players. The Megatone version adds more mass and a slightly darker tone. It also has a slightly bigger throat than the standard Bach 3C, making it have less resistance.
Question:	Does a mega tone mouthpiece help hit higher notes or just to make a smoother sound
Answer:	I tend to notice that mega tones make the tone a bit smoother but for range the higher the C the easier it is to hit high range but the worse your overall tone is. 5c or 7c are generally better if you need the high notes but haven't built the muscles necessary to hit them

Answer:	No, using a C trumpet mouthpiece on Bb trumpet, for example, will make your sound bright and thin, placing you "high on the pitch" in most registers, and also make the octaves "wide. So, this is not recommended.
