Answer:	It comes strung and all you have to do is tune it. You can use the computer for tuning. You can get the sounds to play. There were no extra strings as far as I know. I bought this guitar for my son and he has it at his place. Hope this helps and I hope I am right about the strings on there. I don't know if this type of guitar will nail that sound, but you can probably come close. The issue is going to be the effects you add. I don't know the Fall Out Boys music so I have no comment about that.

Sound is better through headphones of course, and apparently the amp has a battery so you can take anywhere you go. Plus, you can pipe in music from external source. I have a large second hand very used guitar amp already, bought with my first guitar three years ago from a music store and would recommend you purchase one from that type of store or online if you want to deafen every one around you. This amp is perfect if you don’t want to spread your music past your ears.

Answer:	The neck color is a light maple color. The actual fret board is a dark rosewood color. For an inexpensive guitar it's pretty impressive. Good action right out of the box no adjustment needed and pretty good tone. I actually enjoy playing it.
