User questions & answers
Question: | Is it shipped safely? I have had alot alot of problems lately with damaged instruments |
Answer: | Although mine came undamaged, it could have been packed with more cushioning... |
Question: | Does it include strap peg at bottom of neck |
Answer: | No, but I was going to install strap locks anyway... |
Question: | Is the wood used for this guitar solid or laminate? I know what the description says, but one reviewer felt misled, so I thought I'd ask |
Answer: | This is a laminate guitar all the way around. Koa wood, but laminate Koa. Solid Koa wood acoustics are thousands of dollars. Today's laminates are incredible in tone compared with guitars from 10 years ago. Very hard many times to tell the difference. Technology has improved vastly in the last decade. |
Question: | so the rosewood is 41 x 16 x 5 inches, and the ovankol is 20 x 8 x 50 inches? it's quite significant difference in sizes, can anyone confirm this |
Answer: | These should be exact same size .. whatever is standard grand auditorium size. I rarely see accurate dimensions on Amazon .. prob shipping size. I believe the styles, rosewood and ovangkol refer to the fretboard wood; where it indicates the ovangkol is newest version. |

User questions & answers
Question: | what kind of cable should I purchase for this guitar |
Answer: | Look for guitar cable with quarter inch jack. You should also buy a guitar jack extender for the guitar. The input jack on the Washburn acoustics tend to come loose but a jack extender won't allow that to jappen. If you're not sure how to put it on, you should take it to a guotar store. It takes about a minute to install. Good luck! |
