Answer:	My guitar is perfect to accompany while I am singing, so yes the guitar tuner is quite accurate. You have to make sure there's not too much noise in the environment when you are tuning the guitar.

Question:	is this too big for a small 10 year old
Answer:	I wouldn't know how to answer that since I don't know how small your 10 year old is. But, it is a 3/4 size guitar and I bought it for my daughter when she was 11 and she's about average. I don't think you can get guitars much smaller. It's a really nice sounding guitar. Of course, there are better but you have to pay a lot more for those.

Answer:	this guitar is bulky for me and i'm 5'5 and weigh 125 pounds. so for an 8 yr. old, its gonna be big. big n bulky. but for an adult its good/not full size, but close to full size. i would get an 8yr.old the 'amigo' guitar. the Am30 or Am15 model. it's better n much easier to handle n learn on.
