  3. Pickups: The Epiphone Dot is often equipped with Alnico Classic humbucking pickups, which are designed to deliver a classic, vintage-style sound. These pickups provide a warm and smooth tone that works well for a variety of genres.

  4. Hardware: The hardware on the Epiphone Dot is generally of good quality, with features like a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece. These components contribute to tuning stability and sustain.

  6. Variety of Finishes: The Epiphone Dot is often available in various finishes, allowing players to choose a style that suits their preferences.

Overall, the Epiphone Dot is known for offering a great value for its price point. It's a versatile guitar that can handle various musical styles, making it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced players who are looking for a reliable semi-hollow body guitar without breaking the bank.

Epiphone

Based on 155 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Now you can enjoy the classic style and killer performance of the famous Epiphone SG-Special Electric Guitar without destroying your budget. Features include two open-coil humbuckers, LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece for more sustain and easier string changing, chrome hardware, and rosewood fingerboard. Limited lifetime warranty.

Now everyone can own a real SG shape! The SG Special from Epiphone features twin open-coil Humbucker pickups, the Tune-o-matic bridge/Stopbar tailpiece combo for maximum sustain and a fully-carved SG body for devilish good looks.

Devilish good looks.

Twin open-coil humbuckers and the industry-standard Tune-O-Matic bridge.

Rosewood fretboard with dot inlays.

Angled Headstock

Unlike cheaper designs, all Epiphones feature a 14-degree headstock that gives you more pressure at the nut and so you get more sustain with less tuning hang-ups caused by "string-tree" gadgets.

Double-Waxed Pickups

Epiphone utilizes a double vacuum waxing process that ensures optimum performance. The pickup is first placed in the specialized wax vacuuming system before the cover is put in place to ensure that the wax fully penetrates to the very center of the pickup and solidifies all parts. After the cover is placed on, it is again given a second vacuum wax bath until the unit is completely saturated with wax.

Output Jack

To increase reliability and ensure consistent performance, Epiphone's proprietary output jacks feature an improved contact shape and heavy-duty spring steel.

Toggle Switches

All Epiphones feature our all-metal, USA designed switches for reliable contact and longer life.

Tunomatic Bridge

Fully adjustable, the tunomatic remains a classic after over 50 years. Unlike guitars fitted with tremolos, there are no tuning or re-stringing difficulties. Plus, tone and sustain are improved because all string vibrations are transferred directly to the guitar.

Potentiometers

Epiphone is passionate about performance. That's why their instruments use one-inch diameter potentiometers for better "throw," longer life and reliable service.

Quick-Connectors

For unequalled reliability as well as ease of service, Epiphone wiring harnesses feature quick-connectors.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this model include a pre-installed pick guard? I know some do and some do not
Answer: Sir, I have been buying motorcycle boots for many years. They are almost always very snug. I always get one half size bigger and these boots were no exception because I always wear heavy socks with the boots to prevent chafing.I bought these boots almost 2 years ago, and they are still in pretty decent condition, even though I ride quite a bit on the motorcycle. They are really great boots and I like the way they look.
Question: Is the tail piece and bridge chrome or black
Answer: Medium, Shoes do not always come in letter widths. Often many manufacturers have only three widths: narrow or N, medium or M and wide or W.
Question: What is the differences of this PlusPro to the others shown in Amazon (like the cherry sunburst one shown in the comparison
Answer: I found the sizing to be dead on the money, even before the boot adapted to my foot structure. I'm a 12 regular, that's what I ordered, that's what I got. And they've been great since day one. HIGHLY recommend them.
Question: Does this come with a case
Answer: I have 3 boot brands including the Xelement. I always use an insert (Dr.Scholls) to add arch support.

User questions & answers

Question: Can u buy another dial
Answer: Okish, you'd have to put extra padding in to wear them for a long time
Question: Is this a les paul custom pro, or a les paul plus top pro? the decriptions don’t match
Answer: You might be okay with the 7.5, but you might want to go with a 7 even. I wear a size 8, got the 7.5, and my feet move around inside quite a bit. The insole is comfortable enough, but not really "cushy". I have been meaning to put an insole into mine, just haven't got around to it yet. I hope this helps!
Question: What year is this guitar
Answer: Yes. The boots are waterproof! :) When ordering, they seem to run big, so order a half size smaller than you normally wear. I bounce between a 6.5 & 7, so I ordered a 7 and they feel like an 8; I feel like I have clown shoes on! LOL.
Question: Does it come with coil tapping
Answer: China. They make Harley Davidson boots too, same factory, same machines (yep machine made). Really nice boots for the price IMO. Love mine. Run big 1/2-1 size.

  • The Indian Laurel fretboard has dot inlays
  • a standard 25.5” scale
  • a 60s era Epiphone “Dovewing” style headstock
  • a 2-way adjustable truss rod for excellent playability

User questions & answers

Question: Does it come with a case
Answer: With the switch in the 'up' position, your guitar is playing through the neck pickup only (closest to the fretboard), in the 'middle' position, your guitar is playing through both pickups, and in the 'down' position , your guitar is playing through the bridge pickup only (furthest) from the fretboard. Switch through them yourself, and you'll hear the distinct difference. Neck pickup is a mellower (some say muddyer) sound, and bridge pickup is a brighter (some say lead) sound...and of course the middle position is a combination (some say happy medium) of the two.
Question: what’s the difference between this and the AJ-100 CE
Answer: No
Question: Where is it made from
Answer: Depends what you are going to do with it. If you are keeping it at home an inexpensive soft case will work. But if you want to make sure it's protected get a hardshell case, there are many on the market specifically designed for Les Pauls
Question: What are the guitars scale and fretboard radius
Answer: assorted and whatever color we have available will be shipped to you, thanks

Epiphone

Product description

ES-339 P90 PRO Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar Wine Red. Epiphone's Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO is a modern guitar with roots firmly planted in Epiphone's classic era when Epi's famed Kalamazoo factory produced rock's most legendary instruments in the late '50s and '60s. Featuring a reduced-size ES-style body and Epiphone's new P-90R PRO "soapbar" pickups, the ES-339 P-90 PRO semi-hollowbody turns back the clock while breaking new ground in sound and style. Case sold separately. A Legend Reborn First introduced in the late '50s, the original ES Series became an instant rock classic that brought the feel and look of an archtop to a generation of players who had grown up playing solid body guitars like the Les Paul. But for some, ES-style archtops felt too bulky to play on stage or in the studio. Now, the ES-339 P-90 PRO is the perfect remedy featuring smaller body dimensions while still retaining the bell-like tone the ES Series is famous for. And, just like Epi's nouveau classic ProBucker humbuckers, the P-90 PRO "soapbar" pickups are a stunning recreation of the first generation of handwound P-90s which many consider the best single-coil pickup ever made. Solid Epiphone Construction The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO features a reduce-size laminated maple body with a solid center block like original ES-style classics and a black pickguard with metal "E" insignia. The mahogany SlimTaper "D" profile 24.75" scale neck has 22 medium-jumbo frets and is hand-set and glued with a mortise and tenon neck joint with Titebond glue. The 12" radius neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays and a 1.68" nut. Single-ply cream binding on the fingerboard and body completes the classic look. Introducing the new Epiphone P-90R PRO The Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO features Epiphone's P-90R PRO "soapbar" pickup, a true recreation of the first generation of P-90 pickups found in Les Pauls.
