User questions & answers

Question: does this program use Quicktime
Answer: Yes, and it comes with the QuickTime installer. However, you can use "Custom Install" to install only the components are really needed, which are called "QuickTime Essentials." QuickTime Player is not needed. This type of installation minimizes any security concerns. Our newer products such as Guitar Method v6 and Ukulele Method no longer require QuickTime. Therefore, if you are wanting to avoid QuickTime, I recommend Guitar Method v6 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KVSM3X). It also has new features like chord recognition. Hope this helps!
Question: Is this region free
Answer: You can use the software anywhere in the world as long as you're running Windows (XP to Win 10) or Mac OS (10.5 to 10.13).
Question: Will this download onto a macbook air using os x el capitan
Answer: Guitar For Dummies Deluxe is compatible with all the current Windows and Mac operating systems; however, your question is attributed to the detail page for the boxed version. Since you're asking about a download version for your Macbook Air, so I'd recommend buy this one instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H9MWVTK
Question: Will this work in Australia
Answer: Yep. As long as you are running Windows or Mac OS. Enjoy!

Answer: Yep. My Guitar is used by schools. A classroom license is available for group instruction. Please contact our Educational Sales Representative at http://www.emediamusic.com/contact/academic-sales.html for details. :)
Question: Can left handed children use this program
Answer: Yes! Our Animated Fretboard can be flipped in either direction, horizontally or vertically, to create views for left-hand guitar playing.
Question: Can this be used with an electric guitar
