Answer:	No, just the pushbutton switch. You have to go through the cycle of 4 clicks to get back to the same computer even if there are only 2 or 3 being used. I still like the switch and use it every day.

Answer:	I would strongly discourage you from striping the drive (Raid 0). The whole point of a secure backup is to have a secure backup, Since RAID 0 provides no fault tolerance or redundancy, the failure of one drive will cause the entire array to fail. I learned the hard way. As a pro photographer where I value both speed and redundancy now I rather spend the extra money and get a 4 hard drive system where I can have both worlds (RAID 01, or 0+1). If you really want a fast performance but still care about a solid backup, although you don't need to back up that often than I suggest RAID 0 plus a backup on Blu-Ray disks. I like to use Double Density BD and I can store them in a place completely different than my main residence. BD have 100 years life span.

Answer:	It is misleading. Because "Mirror" is in the product name, it's easy to assume that the 4TB model is 2x4TB. What's worse is that the dual bay version is a lot more expensive than the single bay version. This reinforces the confusion.

Answer:	Yeah, I fell for it, too. I thought I was getting 2x 4TB drives -- and it is TB, btw...not gb (which is 1000x less). I found it's only 2x 2TB drives. I believe you can change the Raid to 0, though...which will stripe data across both of them and you'll get nearly 4TB of storage. The only downside to this is if one fails, you lose the data on both. Make it more fun then...and add a 2nd one to the network and have them back each other up =)

Answer:	There may not be any charges now, but to use this drive (and the other WD drives like this) you HAVE to create an account on a WD server before you can set this device up. This server was down for most of the week (3/24-29). Sending back to Amazon.

To do that the best route is to get a used PC with at least 3 GHz CPU and 8 GB of RAM and then install Ubuntu Server on it, then install Plex on that, and then mount your NAS's shared media directories on the Ubuntu Server. Requires some command line inputs but there are dozens of YouTube videos showing how to do it. But you don't even need Plex... Instead, spend $50 for a Raspberry Pi 3, download NOOBS, install OSMC on it, buy the codecs ($5), and use that as your NAS streaming media player. I've been doing that for five years with ripped Blu-rays and never once had a single moment of buffering. Cheap and easy. (The Pi works best as a "direct play device," but not as a transcoding server...).

I personally like Serato better. My cousin uses Traktor and I have played on the S8 Traktor mixer which is really nice. I almost bought it but when I saw Pioneer used Serato and Pioneer being the top DJ equipment out there, I went with that. Plus I had used Serato in the past and really luked it.
