Answer:	I’m 6’ and 207lbs, and it seems plenty sturdy for me. As far as height, it should have plenty of range for you.
Question:	Do you think a round seat is better than the bicycle style seats? Trying to find a gift for my husband and not sure which would be best
Answer:	The triangular-shaped, bicycle-style seat is generally preferred by the larger and/or heavier drummers, which would include pretty much anyone over 250 lbs. Unfortunately, many drum thrones look exactly alike when viewed as black & white photographs online. The less-expensive thrones are only designed to accommodate children weighing up to 150 lbs. Conventional drum thrones can safely handle most adults in the 150-250 pound range. Anyone heavier than that should definitely look into the triangular-shaped seats - that can certainly cost up to several hundred dollars (ouch!) - but can safely accommodate an adult weighing in at 350 lbs. Another alternative would be to consider the kind of seats that are intended to be used as replacement seats in pleasure craft (motor boats).
Question:	Does the seat swivel
Answer:	It swivels if you loosen up the wing nut, but there are no swivel bearings. It feels a little loose when is swivels. My son likes to loosen the wing nut to make it swivel. I prefer it not swiveling though. It's easy enough to loosen or tighten the wing nut. It's a large thick metal chrome plated wing nut, so it's no big deal to adjust it.
Question:	Is it comfortable? And can kid sit on for beginning drummer ? My kid is 3 ys
Answer:	It's comfortable for short periods, 1/2 an hour or less behind a kit. Probably too large for a 3 yr old but can't answer that with any accuracy.

Question:	What is a electronic bass pedal sensor to get with this kicker? (does not work with the stock alesis dm6 nitro sensor
Answer:	The Nitro DM6 Kick Tower does not work well with double kick pedals. It only triggers in the center of the pad and base design is too narrow to properly adjust pedal position. I use my Yamaha KP65 for double kick action. Great bounce back, excellent triggering and plugs right in the Nitro Kit.

Question:	What's the difference between these 4 options
Answer:	Starting with the series, the 400, 500, and Concept belong to different series in the PDP product line. I think the 400 is the cheapest, and Concept is the high-end. The cheaper series typically have less adjustment options and are made with cheaper parts. Single chain, double chain, and direct drive are preferences. The chain drives connect the pedal to the beater with a short bicycle chain. Single chain drives have one chain that is a little thicker, and double chain drives have two chains, side by side, with smaller links. Direct drive pedals have a piece of metal connecting the pedal to the beater. Answer:	Absolutely... 10” snare though..?? Is it a Picollo snare? Either way.... It will def handle a 10” diameter snare. You’ll definitely be using it in a drum set and not for concert standing as it doesn’t go up high enough for concert work. Drum set only. Very sturdy stand though with double braces legs.
Question:	What is the lowest adjustment in height for this stand
Answer:	It appears to be 15 inches from the center of the drum clamp to the ground. I use this stands position at about 1 1/2 inches up from it's collar with a 6 inch DW snare and consider it's position to be sufficiently low. Hope that that helps.

Question:	Is this a long lasting drum set
Answer:	I'm not the actual owner of this ashthorpe drum set. I ordered it for my adult nephew. He's only been using it since December 2019. I see it a couple times a week though and he uses it almost every day and hasn't had to replace anything yet. The Remo heads are high quality and stand up to punishment. I have a couple friends that have been drummers for 30+ years and all they use are Remo heads. But the ashthorpe seems to be made really well.

Answer:	Beginner-intermediate price point, but make no mistake; this is a $3k Recording Custom kit in all but name. The main differences being that the Stage Customs are 6-ply and have low-mass lugs versus the Recording Customs 7-ply shells and hi-tension lugs. Obviously these are mass-produced in China as opposed to Japan, but Yamaha's quality control has always been top-notch, even on the more inexpensive stuff.
