Answer:	I haven’t put the case with sax aboard on a scale but I find it is rather heavy. My case has wheels on it and it hasa telescoping handle like a suitcase. My problem is getting a replacement silver neck for the one that is badly corroded and pitted.

Answer:	By what you've written, it seems the instrument was made in 2002. The 1st version of the 62 was made in 1982. Whether its the ii or iii the cannot tell. Both models are a beautiful instrument and play fantastically well, so i would'nt worry too much. Play away and do it justice!

Answer:	Yes, it came with a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece. It's an OK mouthpiece, but when I replaced it with a Vandoren TL3, I preferred the Vandoren. I've had this sax for over a year and still very pleased. Excellent sound and very easy to play.

Answer:	I believe it only comes with the semi-hard case. It seems to protect the sax fairly well and it is almost as easy as a gig bag for transport. My only complaint is that when you open it, it becomes a little unbalanced and tips over a little due to the light weight.Hope this helps.
