| Answer: | I have three of the Nuvo Flutes that I use with young students, and all of the flutes, when I depress the f key, close the key next to the b key (as well as the key above the f key) to produce a B flat in both octaves. For all of the flutes, using the thumb B flat key, the hole below the b key is closed and the same is true when I depress the trill key. If your flute does not do this, then something is not adjusted correctly in your key mechanism. |
