Set a Bridge

• The side of the bridge facing the violin strings should be at an angle of approximately 90 degrees. The other side of the bridge should be slightly tilted forward.
• When setting a violin bridge, please first loosen the violin string. After placing the bridge in place, the string is inserted into the limit of the bridge, and the tuning can be used normally.

Fine Adjustment Knob

• The function of the fine adjustment knob is to help the violinist to make parts for tuning. The tuning of the violin is difficult.

1. Unscrew the mounting screws for fine adjustment
2. After unscrewing the screws, insert the E string hole at the bottom of the string board
3. Screw on the screws to fix the fine adjustment
4. Insert the adjusting screw of the trimmer
5. Mount the strings to the fine tuning

Adjust Chin Rest

1. The bottom of the chin rest should be completely consistent with the piano panel.

Question:	Whats the difference between mv400 and the cvn
Answer:	CVN-300 has better wood quality than MV400. The CVN-300 has a bright and vibrant tone that produces a clear and crisp sound.
Question:	Are the bows prerosined? I want to use one as a practice bow
Answer:	No. They are not prerosined--but it does come with the rosin for you to do yourself.

Question:	Does this violin come assembled
Answer:	I am a luthier and my wife is a violin teacher. One of her students brought me this exact violin (MV400) to have set up work done. Here is a list of what needed to be done: Refit the bridge feet, thin bridge blank, carve out excess wood from bridge, lower bridge arch for proper string heights, fit pegs and re-drill peg holes, lower and reprofile nut and re-slot string grooves, new tailpiece (cheap tailpiece only lasted 2 weeks before fine tuners seized up), new strings (cheap strings sounded truly awful, and started fraying after 2 weeks), remove excess varnish from neck/ fingerboard joint and smooth, and finally a new soundpost. The fingerboard was adequate, and I left it alone. The instrument itself is not terrible, and the pegs and fingerboard were of reasonable quality, but the tailpiece and string quality and very inadequate setup will have you spending an additional $200-$300 and I haven't even mentioned the awful bow, crummy shoulder rest, and crummy rosin. The instrument sounds reasonably good now after all the work, though at the end of the day, you still have a $100 violin. You really get what you pay for.

Answer:	Looks like wood to me and has a good sound, I have it on top of my tv and the sound vibrates the strings and the sound is getting better every day.. great little fiddle for the price. I am pleased, I purchaesed this one for a student.
