Answer:	The cd2399gp chip converts the analog signal to digital as it comes in, implements the delay digitally storing the signal in on board 44k of ram, then converts the digital back to analog on the way out. If properly designed, there is nothing wrong with a digital delay, but the advertising is misleading. The dry signal likely remains analog, only the delay goes through digital processing. Note, the longer the delay, the higher the total harmonic distortion.

Answer:	It has a great over-saturated, thick distortion sound. Nice, round & full-bodied tone & not "buzzsaw" or too fuzzy. It can do an overdrive, light distortion very well but that's not really its strong point. If that's the sound you're looking for check out the Kmise US Dream pedal (Purple, I think), it does the hot tube/overdrive really well. But if you're wanting a thick chunky sound, this is what you want.

Answer:	Thanks for the interest here. Doesn't really show the specs on the exact max time but as this is a digital unit, the delay can go 1,200 ms and beyond. Nice unit for the price and a player favorite.

Answer:	Not really,the signal still fades slowly with the feedback knob turned to its highest setting. It will begin to oscillate, and you can manipulate the pitch with the delay time knob, but a few seconds in it begins to become noticeably lower in volume, so it's not something you can set up to run continuously while turning your attention elsewhere to set up another sound. You'd have to come back and hit it with input again and set up the oscillation again. So, no. Not like a DJ would probably want. Better for ambient sounds... the tape and modulation settings both sound really good.

Answer:	Yes, it is 'true bypass', and from what I can tell, it really is, although I haven't opened it up to make sure.

Answer:	It actually depends if you do the "tape echo" style delay or the digital delay. The full range is 20ms to 7000ms. The tape echo has I think a max of 2500ms. You can also use the toneprint editor to create delays with different min/max settings.

Question:	Is the fuzz pedal pure analog
Answer:	The Helix and Double Helix (available in the app) are different than your standard Shimmer style delays. They delay your sound and add a repeat that's reversed and pitch shifted. It's pretty cool. The fact that I can have my presets all on my phone is really nice too. The diffuse setting kind of smears the front of your pick attack in an interesting way. The degrade setting is lofi but it also does some bit crushing (there's a more extreme version in the app too). There are some cool pattern delays (repeats at different intervals) and filtered delays (mid boosted, low-passed, filter sweeps, etc). It's really cool and being able to change stuff in my phone puts it over the top of the Empress for me personally. It's also much cheaper (especially used on Reverb).
Question:	Will this work for Bass Guitar? Do you recommend it
Answer:	Yes. By default the delays get summed to mono. The default for stereo is that when a second output is detected it will ping-pong the repeats between the outputs. But if you want to run stereo and you don't want that effect then you can change that behavior for that patch in the editor.

Answer:	The pedal has a tap tempo feature built in. I believe you might get external tap by buying the SA Hub. You should check their site or send them an email. SA is very responsive.
Question:	What circuit is the fuzz based off of
Answer:	you can 'burn' any special sound into any of the 12 slots and that is kept in the pedal memory. to do that you need to plug the phone into the pedal but that's only once.

Answer:	Yes, this works great on Bass (I've played it on my fender P-bass and loved it), i would recommend low-mid sustain settings and a medium attack, to get a great sound.

Answer:	The casing is metal.
Question:	Is there a 9V battery option with this pedal
Answer:	I believe its closest to a fuzz face. JHS' description says it cleans up with the volume knob like a fuzz face. It has a lot more features though like a more usable sweep, the adjustable bias and can get that modern crazy gated sound so because of all of that its its own thing. Personally, I'd rather have one of these than spend an extra $50 to get an actual fuzz face with half of the features unless you just want the ufo style enclosure which is cool.
