Question:	This is a valve amp
Answer:	This is not a valve amp, this is a modeling amp which can be tweaked with the insider software. It's very versatile on it's own but with multi effects pedal units is somewhat a downer.

Answer:	I think 110 not 220
Question:	Can the built in looper be controlled via the included footswitch
Answer:	The foot switch does control the built in looper, but its not ideal. The footswitch is very basic, 2 buttons, and the looper has no visual indicators on the amp at all. So changing channels, starting and stopping, record mode, it's a guessing game as to what will happen when you click the button. The amp sounds awesome although most of the digital effects and presets sound pretty crappy. In manual mode though the amp puts out great volume and a nice tone. You will probably enjoy it much more using this amp with a dedicated loop station or loop pedal.

Answer:	No, it's line level input socket. You can't connect microphone directly to the line level input socket. You need a microphone pre-amplifier for that. As soon your microphone is amplified ( using an optional mic pre-amp) you can connect it to that "MP3" line level socket.

Answer:	Yes, but if your looking for a small practice amp, go with a Fender Mustang or Fender Champion 20. The Balckstar HT 1r is really loud and trebley even though it's a one watt amp. I sent mine back. The Fenders are a lot cheaper too and sound better
