Question: | How does this sound paired with an external 12” cabinet? Good enough for most jazz and moderately loud rock gigs |

From Gallien Krueger: The Fusion S Series Heads are GK’s brand new Class D Model heads with a tube preamp. The rich warmth of tubes combined with the quick, punchy power section that GK bass amps are known for is an experience like no other. These high powered heads incorporate three 12ax7 tubes in the preamp, including one dedicated to the overdrive channel, making it GK’s first ever tube driven overdrive channel. Illuminated knobs add an extra level of sophistication and design by not only making it easier to dial in your tone on stage and but adding a beautiful stage presence as well. Each illuminated knob is also push activated, with additional voicing filters and tonal characteristics built in. Like the Legacy Series, the Fusion S series uses a unique interconnection system that eliminates problems that can develop over time from constant vibration and temperature extremes that gear is subjected to with heavy use. Using circuit boards with gold plated connectors, rather than cables with standard tin connectors, this type of construction delivers a more pure, reliable sound. Features include GK's classic 4 band EQ, tube Overdrive complete with tone shaping, additional push button voicing filters such as "Bump", "Contour", and "Presence", Balanced DI with Pre and Post EQ, an Effects Loop, Aux and Headphone connections, and Load capacity selection, to deliver optimum power into 2, 2.7, 4 and 8ohm cabinet configurations.

- Four band active EQ
- Foot Switchable Tube Overdrive with Tone Control (Footswitch Included)

User questions & answers
Question: | I want to buy a GK amp but not sure what speaker size would be best for me, 2X10 or a 12 or a |
Answer: | Nope. Once you set the gain properly, you control the volume from the guitar. |
Question: | How is the mb 210 for double bass |
Answer: | By it self, no external speaker, it’ll handle a jazz gig. I’ve done rock gigs with the basic unit itself. Even though I have an external speaker I’ve actually never used it |
Question: | does it run with most extension cabs |
Answer: | I have my amp in a flight case but it is very durable. It is a well built cabinet and honestly it is the best amp I've ever had for so much less $$$. I have had no chips or dents. Way better than my Ampeg which actually did have the tolex rip even though it was in a case as well. The GK is just this little unassuming high quality amplifier with huge sound that cuts through so nice. You won't regret buying it. I couldn't believe it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can this power an a passive extension cab |
Answer: | It would depend somewhat on the type of bass and what pickups it had, but in general- it would be clean. It’s basically a volume knob. You won’t get a lot of breakup unless you really crank it, and by that point the speaker probably won’t sound so great. Btw, this the best small amp I’ve ever owned. Unless you just hate the sound of GK amps, buy with confidence. |
Question: | Does it works with a 220V connection |
Answer: | Both have headphone jacks. Get the G-K for 5 more watts. Get the Ampeg for 60 degree placement option. |
Question: | Hi. is this a mb110-ii |
Answer: | It depends on what is your meaning of cranked up. But it is a very loud amp. |
Question: | Is this power is RMS or PMPO because it does nt say anywhere |
Answer: | Its 100% made in the USA. Generation 1 was made in China. This is gen 2 wich is totally american. |
