Question:	Does this item block access to the other electrical plug when it is plugged in
Answer:	If you are looking at the same lights as I am (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZZNVKKV?ref_=pe_527950_33920290_dpLink ) it doesn't say it is rechargeable. It works as a regular night light normally and if the power goes off it will switch to AA batteries and keep the night lite on. The article says the batteries have a life of about 250 hours. Since it uses regular AA batteries they might need to be replaced probably once every year or so. I can tell you from experience that they are nice to have in case the power goes off at night. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Mike, It would not block out the light 100%. All emergency blankets have some mild transparency.
Question:	Does each color variation serve any other purpose aside from insulation? or they simply for preference
Answer:	Great question rolling.stone! The silver side of the blanket helps to reuse body heat. The gold side actually deflects heat, and can help to prevent overheating or provide shade. The other colors such as army green, can be used provide coverage or shelter, without being super reflective and looking like a signal shelter. Other colors like red, pink and orange all have reflective attributes that can be used to make emergency signals and stand out, but also use the silver side to hold in heat. Some blankets (not Swiss Safe Brand) have a matte finish, which does not offer reflective signaling at all.

Answer:	Hi - I have used these for years in various applications - so here's my answer - of course you could use it for a temporary blanket indoors - but, as the other guy said - it is a little noisy - but the real issue is that it is WATERPROOF - meaning that as you sit (even outdoors) your clothes will accumulate sweat/moisture and you'll get a little damp - normal body moisture can not move through this blanket as through a textile (cotton/polyester/etc) one - these work by reflecting (and retaining) body heat.
