Answer:	If your question pertains to the Carex Transport Wheelchair, I don't think the arms are replaceable. On the chair I ordered, the arms are welded to and part of the frame. If you mean the arm-rests, I'm not sure. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Answer:	The only assembly you have to do is pop in the wheels turn a few screws. After this, you also pop in the pedals and you are done. I assembled two of them. It took me 15 minutes total which included removing from the box and taking off the plastic and cardboard. Not that I have had any problems, be sure to double check all wheel screws before each use for added safety.

"Desk Design" is when the arms are indented to fit under a desk. I actually wish I had bought my chair with "regular" arms, no indent. Question:	can a person when sitting move chair around by themsleves
Answer:	I have had to use the handles to raise the front end because there is no tilt bar. I have only had to do that twice. One it worked great and the last time I ended up turning the chair around and backing over a door threshold. Hope this helps.

Putting it in the car trunk can be a little difficult task, depends on the physical capability of the person and accessibility to the car trunk. Handling on the floor is no problem. I am 72 year old man and did not have a problem loading it to the car. I hope this info will help. I have no complain so far about this product, but this wheelchair is the first I have owned and second I have used.
