Answer:	It is widest at the handbrakes 23 1/4". If you fold down the handles it is 22 1/2". Fits easily through most modern doorways. You may be able to gain an inch by installing offset door hinges as I did in a mobile home with narrow doorways.

Ultimately, the woodwork was scratched, but I did find a solution which moves the door out a bit and closer to the wall. Here is the item on Amazon if you'd like to take a look. Answer:	I have used the chair with the 12" wheels for two years now. We have had it in crushed lava, sand, and on cement or asphalt. It has performed beautifully. It is not, however, a do-all, be-all. It is not a wheelchair. But it is a remarkable, well built, and easily used, people transport piece of equipment. By the Bye, I did use a chair with the 8" wheels and it was pretty bad when used in sand or other such type pathways.

The only assembly was the foot rests, which you become very familiar with because when you fold it up to store it (say in the car trunk) you will take them off - which is very simple to off and on. I found this chair to be extremely well engineered and sturdy. Lots of thought went into it.

Answer:	The manufacture lists it as 23.5 pounds. That’s pretty accurate. It’s easily lifted Into the back of a car/van/truck.

Answer:	The transport chair is about 28" X 38" X 10" thick when folded up, with the foot rests removed. It will fit easily in my Toyota Camry trunk, even with the footrests left attached.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. This chair has rubber tippers built in. We are unsure if they are replaceable. It's very hard to see in these images but if you expand the image you can see in the back through the crossbar to the back of the chair on the bottom part of the frame.
