Answer:	Yes except for the foot brackets, which attach easily. It's a good chair. I highly recommend it.

Answer:	According to the MFG specifications the seat width is 18.5". The overall width of the chair is 25.5", so it should fit just fine.

Answer:	Seat is 16" deep (from front edge of seat to back). 25" refers to side to side width of seat. Allow additional 6" or so for total width including wheels. It's a great lighter weight chair that is much easier to load and unload than a wheelchair. Raised handles with brake give caregiver a lot more control when pushing the chair. I highly recommend it.

Answer:	The seat doesn't come off to be washed but I think you can use a wipe to clean it. I use a washable seat chux for my mom to sit on due to incontinence leaks.

Answer:	I measured my chair for you, The overall width from edge of rear tires is 27", but there are small caps, at the center of the rear wheels that extend further, giving the total max. width at 28 1/2". In my house the chair just fits through the narrowest door at 29" wide.
Question:	I understand the seat is 22" wide. How deep is the seat
Answer:	Yes, the seat is 22" wide at the maximum. The chair is 16" at the minimum and 18" at the center where the back forms a curve.
Question:	My brother weighs 250 lbs, is the chair easy to push with someone of that weight. I'm only 5' 4" and wonder if I can push it when he's in it
Answer:	My husband was 270 and it is very easy to push and lift to put in the trunk. The best chair I have found. I am 5"10, 170 so that is quite a difference from your size but like I said, it was the easiest one I found and I have been through a few.

Answer:	Mobile Mobility Services: Yes the armrest are removable. They have the same release lever at the back of the armrest and they do on the front.

Answer:	Mobile Mobility Services: Below is the instructions I found in the owner's manual. Hope this helps. WHEEL LOCKS ADJUSTING WHEEL LOCKS DO NOT operate wheels locks while the product is moving. DO NOT attempt to stop the product using wheel locks (wheel locks are not brakes). 1 - Disengage locks. 2 - Loosen the bolt and locknut that secure the wheel lock to the frame. 3 - Reposition the wheel lock so that if it were engaged, the lock would press against the tire and depress it 1/8th inch. 4 - Securely tighten the bolt and locknut attaching the wheel lock to the frame. 5 - Engage wheel lock and test to ensure that product does not move, and wheel does not turn, when pushed. 6 - If product moves with locks engaged, then repeat above steps and slightly increase the amount that lock depresses tire when engaged.

Answer:	I would say 25 lbs. I am a small lady and weigh 130 lbs. snd I can lift chair in and out of trunk easily. It definitely does not weigh 45 lbs.

Question:	Re 330 transport chair Is the seat width really only 18 inches The NOVA brochure shows 20 inches
Answer:	Between the front metal frame it runs a little over 19", measuring in the middle the width is 20". Have had ours for about a year and would not trade if for another. Handbrakes make it easier for me to control on inclines. Large wheels make it easier to move. My son had to borrowed the chair, managed to use it and he weighs over the limit of 300 lbs.

Answer:	I would say that it weighs around 22 lbs. I don't have a scale to be really exact. I just balanced it on a set of bathroom scales.

Answer:	The shipping weight is 28 pounds but I think the chair weighs between 20 and 25 pounds. We've found it very easy to put in and out of our car and it is a quality product.

Answer:	There are rear wheel locks, like a wheelchair. No hand brake.
Question:	Amazon says the seat is 17". I have a Nova pamphlet which says the model 329 is 18.5". Which is correct
Answer:	from armrest to armrest it is 15"....it is smaller than an airline seat. It is not designed for large framed nor people over 200#. The front and back wheels are the same size so it is a struggle for someone to push if the occupant is heavier than that. So it's 15" for the 329BK. The foot rests come off and on very easy. I just leave them on as they weigh very little and because they fold it fits in the trunk or the back seat easily. Amazon is wrong and the Nova pamphlet is certainly wrong as far as seat width.

Question:	can anyone speak to the armrests being helpful or a hindrance in terms of person getting up , or in, vs the shorter type/desk type armrests? thanks
Answer:	I bought this for my late husband who was over 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds. The are rests were no problem in assisting him getting up from the chair.

Answer:	Yes. The foot rest do swing. That is a great question. Without that feature, a fall is just around the corner... Especially for an elderly person or someone with muscle/coordination problems.
Question:	It doesn't say it has "desk armrests" which I assume means this one can't roll up to a restaurant table easily
Answer:	I have not tried to place my wife at a table since she is not confined to the wheelchair, but I believe the armrests should fit under the standard height table. The wheelchair is relatively easy to handle and put together and rolls easily. Proof of that: I wheeled her along on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Hope this helps you.

Answer:	The seat is not padded . It need a little padding

Answer:	So glad you asked! There are two (2) rails that hold the "potty" but they are easily removed as we just discovered. The chair seat is 17 3/4 inch high at the bottom with the rails removed. It is a very good toilet chair, not a shower chair. It is rusting badly from being in the shower.
Question:	Can someone tell me why this chair can not be used in a shower? When searching this chair comes up under commode shower chairs
Answer:	We have used this as a shower chair for at least four years. It does eventually get rusty in places, but it's been very satisfactory. We will replace it with the same model. It's also been handy for showering our small dog. We put a towel on the seat so it's not slippery when wet, and it puts him at a comfortable height to shampoo and rinse with a hand-held shower head. Makes quick work of the "dreaded" shower time for him!
Question:	What is the narrowest doorway that the chair will fit through
Answer:	I made the chair narrower by switching the arm rests so the overhang is inside the rail.

Question:	What about a cobblestone surface or gravel
Answer:	Travel over gravel would be impossible and over cobblestone would be very difficult but not impossible. The small wheels are for relatively smooth surface.
Question:	How much weight will it hold
Answer:	I thought the literature said 250 pounds but I’m not sure. My mother weighs about about 150 pounds so I wasn’t concerned about weight. You’ll need to check with the manufacture. Sorry. I can tell you it’s a very nice chair, it works well and weighs about half, or less, that of a regular wheelchair. It is much easier to load in and out of a car. My back was bothering me before I got it. Good luck

Answer:	It looks like the Nitro would not fit the Nova Travel Bag. The Tvl Bag Specs are: 34"W x 26.5"H x 9.25"D. Published Nito Dimensions: Open:23"W x 33½-38¼"H and 23"W x 27¾"D. Shipping Box (exterior) dimensions: 35.4 x 29.2 x 11.6 in. >> Conclusion: Clsoe, but probably will not fit. .

Answer:	The bag folds quite nicely. We use one for my walker before gate-checking it. The airlines will give you a claim tag for it to use once you have loaded it in the bag. Gate-checking means that the walker is available as you leave the aircraft AND is not banged around with all the checked baggage. No charge for gate-checking.

Answer:	This chair is about 28 inches outer wheel to outer wheel. I have very narrow doorways of 30 to 34 inches. I just make it though, but sometime knock my knuckles.
