Answer:	This cushion has a 5" depth. It's length and width are 15 X 18. My husband was unable to get up from a regular chair at the time because he had been cautioned not to use his arms to push up for a 6-8 week period following surgery. This cushion made a huge difference in his mobility in standing up. He would scoot to the edge of the cushion, put his feet down and then stand-up fairly easily

Answer:	I would say so. Very comfortable. I had been experiencing butt soreness before I purchased this and now every thing is great.
Question:	What type of fabric is the cover made of? is it silky or at least not the type of fabric that will cling to clothing and make it difficult to get up
Answer:	It can be cut since the gel is very soft, but we don't recommend to do that, maybe cut it won't easily 100% meet you expect.

Answer:	Hello, The Cotton is more of a soft bed sheet feel, where the Poly is just a bit more synthetic. I would say the softer one would be the Cotton, but it is also up to personal preference, as the Poly is usually perceived as "smoother".

Answer:	It does not pack as tight as a down bag. It is bulky but extremely warm.I do not backpack so "packing it down" was not a great concern to me.Hope this helps.
