Question:	What is the depth and height of the bench
Answer:	This bench is 15.5" deep on the sides and 18" high
Question:	does it require assembly
Answer:	Yes some assembly is required to attach top and shelf to legs

Answer:	Unfortunately ALL shower stools get a terrible haze from the soap and it’s a pain to clean them. I end up having to buy a new one each year.

Answer:	I am not certain of the weight limitations by the manufacturer. Double check with them. My opinion only, it would be as long as the stool is perfectly level in the tub/shower floor. I find it amazing sturdy. I am 5'1" and weigh 160.

Question:	What is the distance between the shelves
Answer:	We have 8 ft ceilings, and the 8 inch overhead arm is well above our heads. My hubby is 6' 1". The shower head is fairly heavy, and the overhead arm holds it well. We LOVE ours.

Question:	Everyone seems to be using this bench in the shower. How well does it hold up outside
Answer:	Not sure. I’m ocean front and have had 2 of these tables for 1 year with no problems. The screws that join the top to the legs come already screwed into the legs so you would have to take them out and replace them with stainless. Not sure how you do that. The hardware is brass maybe? Brass colored at least. Don’t see any corrosion yet... I love them because they are heavy and haven’t blown away, even with 65 mph winds.
Question:	What is the spread of the leg
Answer:	I’m not really sure how much weight it would hold. It is pretty sturdy. I stand in it when I’m cleaning windows and it holds me at 140 lb

Answer:	The top tray is 18 in diameter. The height is also approx 18 in. It fits well between our two teak rockers.
Question:	Is the bench 20" tall and 16" wide
Answer:	It can be assembled without the bottom shelf but the weight bearing capacity and structural stability will be reduced. Will it still hold two cups of coffee safely, yes.

WATERPROOF

Teak is a hard wood. It is strong and durable, able to withstand extremes of heat and cold. Whilst this makes it excellent wood for outdoor furniture, it also means that it can provide a lifetime and more of use indoors. It’s durability means that it is unlikely to suffer from rotting or many other afflictions that can attack other woods.

QUALITY CONTROL

Like genuine leather and other luxury materials we’ve come to appreciate, there are varying qualities of teak wood. AlaTeak Furniture uses only premium grade 100% Tectona grandis, teakwood. Only the finest cuts are selected and used in the production of our patio furniture. Much of the lumber used in the cottage industry is of secondary quality that may include sapwood. We use only select kiln-dried teakwood with characteristics that include: straight grain structure, absence of knots, splits or cracks and, an even tone in color.

PRODUCT CARE

Our specially produced stool comes pre-oiled from factory and ready to be used outdoors and indoors as soon as you receive it. Our production is using high quality materials and improved technology, so in this way the stool last several years. The most important part of keeping them for very long years is to maintain them properly and follow the instructions well.

They are eligible to stay out during winter, but please try to clean them before snowfall and after the snow let them dry in sunshine. To recover anything please give them a coat of a high quality wood oil.

Answer:	No, it does not have the mesh at top. Waffle weave on entire curtain. Beautiful product.

Answer:	The style you chose does not. I purchased the options with liner, which snaps out for washing. It also has a see through top portion, which is great if your tub/shower enclosure does not have a light! Quality of the curtain is fantastic!

Answer:	Not sure, but there is a product made by Bayes for Teak. It promises to "restore neglected teak." I have read about it but not had a reason to use it. It would be a place to start looking and may lead you to something more positive.

Question:	I need a sturdy solid bench I can sit on to get in and out of my shower, it wont get very wet but I need it to be very stable and solid,, is this it

Question:	What is the depth of this bench
Answer:	I bought the oil and oiled it before placing in shower. And actually I thought the table was a little dull until I oiled it. Once oiled it was much shinier and it has stayed that way in the shower. I have only had a few months and water is on it all the time. I have no problem it dries quickly. From what I understand Teak is not supposed to harbor mold easily if taken care of. So wiping down and wiping with the teak oil every six months should prevent mold.

Question:	Can this product be used in an infrared sauna? My main concern is the use of chemicals? Does the wood in this product contain and/or emit phenols
Answer:	Me, too. No bolts, no allen wrench, no assembly directions. Took two phone calls and two and a half weeks to resolve. I would suggest you call Aqua Teak as soon as your order is confirmed and insist that they open your box and check for fasteners before shipment. Love the bench, hate the hassle.
Question:	Which country is the teak from
Answer:	Depends on the dimensions of claw foot tub and whether or not the tub has a flat bottom. I wouldn't think it would work in a tube with rounded bottom. I have an inset tub with flat bottom that is not overly large and it fits just fine. Check dimensions in description of product and then measure your tub.
Question:	What is the color more like？ beech, oak, natural, brown or cherry
Answer:	Purchased ours 2/15/2015 (nearly 3 years ago). Have treated it only 4 times with teak oil and it looks like the day we bought it. It's directly under the shower stream in a tiled bath stall with slightly sloped floor. Has held up extremely well and I never dry it off or pamper it. Just drains or evaporates dry. Very stable, heavy and beautiful. Read somewhere that bar soap can leave film on wood, so we switched to liquid body wash. No more "cloudiness" on the teak.
Question:	How much weight can it hold
Answer:	I have the stool and yes, it is approx 18"high, 18"wide and 12" deep. I say approx b/c the top swoops. At lowest a bit under and at highest a bit over. Also, I have the solid top, not the slated one as pictured.

Question:	Will the lower shelf hold standard magazines without sticking out past the legs
Answer:	It is sturdy. Good product. It is fairly low, one can sit on it, but we use it mostly as foot support.
Question:	I'm not a fan of logos. is the eco decors plate on the bench attached to both sides? i would love to turn it around to hide it. can it be removed
Answer:	Sorry, but I have no experience with the overbed table ans cannot answer your question. I can tell you that this AquaTeak footrest is really good quality and I am glad I bought it.
Question:	What is the weight capacity
Answer:	Well, you know, that is unusual since the chair is supposed to stand against a corner. however, you could place some felt slider protectors on each leg. Since it is exposed to water you want to put a couple of good nails to hold it in place. Use nails that would not rust. This should do the trick.
Question:	If it gets wet everyday in the shower, how does it hold up
Answer:	We have had ours in the shower for a couple months and no sign of mold or mildew yet. Very pleased with this foot rest.

Question:	Will Tilex daily shower spray hurt the wood if it gets on it
Answer:	All of our products are mad of 100% solid teak wood and use stainless steel hardware. All the stools and benches are very sturdy but ones with the shelves are an extra layer of stability. This bench is very sturdy and one of our best sellers.
Question:	Does this get mildew on the underside
Answer:	The bench is a little under 14 inches deep (13.75 inches, to be more exact).
Question:	Is this bench really 30 inches tall? Says so in the description and another Q & A said yes, but I just read another review that says 18" high
Answer:	Although all of our benches and stools are rock solid they are all rated at the industry standard of 250 lbs for weight.
Question:	What is the weight limit on this stool
Answer:	Ours is in our shower. Yes, there is an orange-brown discoloration in the white/light grey grout directly underneath the teak bench. A 50/50 water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixture plus a light scrub brush gets it out ASAP.
