Answer: In my experience it did not work. I tried a few times using different pieces and using the hair dryer on both high and low heat. You can see the wax melting but it just wouldn't stick to the screen.

Answer: Screen Mend did nothing for me. I tried both pieces that come with the package and neither stuck. If I were you I would just take it to a hardware store, that fixes screens. You might pay around $30-$40 for a new screen. Less if they can just repair the one you got. The extra you pay will be worth it.

Answer: Yep, but you will have a big 7" dark spot where the new repair patch is. This stuff doesn't blend in well. Yes, I would think you can overlap smaller pieces of the repair patches together.

Question: How well does this do in the snow? I live in Michigan where it snows alot and will need this for getting to the store
Answer: In the instruction book it says not to get it wet and if you do to dry it as soon as possible, so I do not think it would be ok for that reason. I live in Toledo and used it to get from my car to a store that had been plowed and it did not do very well. It has a really low ground clearance, and the wheels are rather small, about 7-8 inches. Every time I hit a slushy part it did not want to go. I only tried it once and now only use it if it is relatively dry. I do love the machine although I wish I had gotten the 3 wheeler. Easier to turn. This machine has allowed me to go places that I haven't been to in years. Went to the zoo with the grand kids for the first time in forever.
Question: is the battery charger and battery included
Answer: yes both are included. I bought my scooter last December. I haven't had any problems until now. Red blinking light on and scooter won't advance. So now I have to call up technical support tomorrow to find out what the problem is. Battery is fully charged so not sure what the problem is!

Question: Are the lights under the buttons suppose to be on all the time? I hooked up the remote and was expecting the lights to go off after a delayed time
Answer: Yes, the lights do stay on all the time. Golden was one of the first companies to use a lighted control; they advertise it as a control with a "night light"... It is lighted with LED's, so it hardly uses any electrical power. Some like the lighted control, some don't, but that's what the manufacturer chose to do. Hope this helps!
Question: I have golden recliner model pr-501l fpa (5 pin controller). will this controller work with my recliner
Answer: My mother has two recliners with different model numbers. The five pin controller works on both of them.
Question: How Long is this
Answer: 36 inches but the coiled cord will stretch a foot and return. It will stretch significantly more if you don’t expect it to return to 36 inches. For my chair 3 feet is perfect to come up over the arm and lay beside you (or on your lap).
Question: Where do you get an extension cable
Answer: The hand control as delivered stretches to about six feet. If you need it to be on the other side of the chair, someone can rethread the lead from the motor to the other side. I know of no other “extension”.
