Question: Can the person sitting in the seat reach the locks so they can get out of the chair without the help of another person with them
Answer: Yes, my dad can reach the locks when he is in the chair.
Question: ow do you adjust brake rubbing on wheel
Answer: A (somewhat) careful look at the mechanism reveals no method to adjust the brakes. Just the lever to set and please them. After about a year of use mine still keeps those rear wheels from turning. Although on a smooth tile floor they'll still slide so getting into or out of the chair takes care and caution.
Question: Brake broke after about 3 weeks use. Instructions say to contact vendor, which is Amazon for warranty issues. So how do i do that
Answer: sorry to hear I don't think Amazon is the vendor..Usually a DME durable medical company is a vendor. they may be named on the amazon web site in the info described. there are multiple ways to contact amazon go to web site and look under help Hope you can get help not acceptable for brakes to break after 3 weeks

User questions & answers

Question: Will it last for two years with weekly use to shopping mall and taken on paved paths? I’ll be using it for my mom for about an hour for shopping etc
Answer: I thought when I ordered it they said 36 inches but when I measured it just now it was 35 and 1/2 inches. but I have used it for a long time so maybe some of the rubber tip at the bottom has worn. Sorry I took so long to answer......Joel Buntley
Question: Where are the brakes located
Answer: No I do not believe that it is made in America. However I would like to say that it is some of the strongest construction of laminated wood that I have ever seen I would like to say that it is some of the strongest construction of laminated wood that I have ever seen. And the quality of workmanship and everything about the ki was absolutely first class.
Question: Are the foot rests removable
Answer: First of all it is a well constructed wooden cane of about 1" stock.I measured inside the curve where the hand would go. It was 3-1/4 inches inside and 5 " outside the curve. This is a difficult measurement as it is a curve and the distances vary by where you measure.I too have large hands and the cane fits just fine. The other thing is that it is not expensive and worth a try anyway.Hope this helps.
Question: What is the overall width of the 17" when it is open
Answer: Yes, a rubber tip is included with the cane.

Question: What is the difference in the deluxe nitro walker and the regular one
Answer: The "regular" is listed by the manufacturer as weighing 17.5 lbs, while the DLX is listed at 22 lbs. The mfg lists the regular as being made of aluminum, but is silent on the composition of the DLX. (something heavier than aluminum?) The seats are different.
Question: Can you get a case/bag to put walker in when you fly so you can check it
Answer: When I have flown I check my Rollator at the counter and they shrink wrap it and I pick it up at the oversized bag claim. I have flown 3 times with it and have had no problem.
Question: what is the pedal on the inside of right rear wheel
Answer: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry; the 'pedal break like feature' is the curb step tube, and it is only on one side of the device. The brakes are encased in the handles and operate both wheels. Thank you, Deanna @ Drive
Question: do these work on a DTX yamaha electric drums
Answer: I think so long as the connection is the same, you should be alright! Good luck!
Question: Do these work with rock band 4 through the rock band 4 - legacy game controller adapter for xbox one
Answer: We don't have the XBox One, I would think that they do! Check with A GameStop store!
Question: Do they offer pro-mode in rb3 and rb
Answer: There is pro mode in RB4 on Playstation 4. I actually used my cymbals from my RB2 set with my new bluetooth RB4 set for my PS4, they worked great.
Question: Do they work on Rock Band
Answer: The site says that it's "Compatible with Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3 Drum kits!"https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001G57Y02?ref_=pe_527950_33920250
Question: This is only required for legacy wireless accessories? does a regular usb legacy device work fine
Answer: No, the Xbox one doesn't support "wired" USB legacy controllers. There's a list of compatible legacy controllers in the Rock Band forums. The product works great though, especially after the new Xbox experienced hashed out a few minor issues.
Question: Does it work with the 360 gamepad
Answer: I was searching for an answer to this as well and found the following thread where some stated that it did work with the xbox 360 wireless gamepad: http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/240942/can-i-use-an-xbox-360-controller-to-play-xbox-oneI understand that they have an official list of supported controllers but it would be nice to know if anyone else tried it anyway and got it to work. The poster in the above thread tested his out with Destiny and it worked without any issue.I forgot to mention that you can also do this without the adapter through Windows 10 streaming and the above thread makes mention of it as well. The following video on youtube goes into more detail on how to setup the xbox 360 gamepad/controllers to work with the xbox one via the streaming method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru0b3lD1jk4
Question: Can you hook two of these up to one xbox one to allow two profiles to be used
Answer: Hey Jacob - as far as I'm aware you can use up to four instruments on the one device. I used two wireless guitars with no issues at all. It basically works like the old 360 did and you can have up to four 360 devices on this one adapter. You would have to check for compatibility for your particular instrument though and it only accepts wireless instruments (no additional usb port for wired mics).
Question: Does this work with the the Rock Band 3 keyboard
Answer: Unfortunately it does not. Harmonix answered in an Faq on their forums that the Keyboard and Pro Drums would not be compatible with Rock Band 4 Source: http://forums.harmonixmusic.com/discussion/257486/were-ready-for-our-encore-rock-band-4-coming-2015

User questions & answers

Question: can the hand brakes be adjusted for weaker people? Thank you Lynn
Answer: Yes, the sides collapse to the middle just as on the higher priced walkers. I have an expensive priced walker given to me through Medicare and this one is just as sturdy. Would definitely recommend it.
Question: what are the pros and cons of a steel or aluminum rollator
Answer: Handle to Handle is 19 3/4", not including the width of the wheels (5" wheels). I purchased the 3" wheels to go through narrow bathroom doorway. If you put on 3" wheels the walker would be 21 1/4" measurement on the bottom (walker is wider on bottom). If you keep the 5" wheels and flip them to the inside the walker would be approximately 21 1/4" on the bottom side.
Question: What is the width of the wheel base at it's widest? Needs to fit through 25" bathroom door
Answer: YES, it's definitely possible to add back wheels. I've had multiple sclerosis for 21 years and have ALWAYS used 4-wheeled walkers. Just buy an additional set of 5" wheels and snap them in just as you do with the front wheels.
Question: Does this item come assembled
Answer: We reversed wheels so the wheel is on inside was doing too much damage to base board when on outside.

User questions & answers

Question: Does Medicare cover this as a purchase
Answer: Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers walkers as durable medical equipment (DME). The walker must be Medically necessary and prescribed by your doctor or other treating provider for use in your home. No, although exceptions exist under Medicare Part B (80%-20%) if deductibles are met. If you can get a doctor's prescription saying that crutches or canes will not provide the support needed, it may be possible for Medicare Part B to cover a knee walker. Medicare considers this to be a luxury medical device; not one of necessity when crutches will suffice. Also, Medicare will only cover your DME if your doctors and DME suppliers are enrolled in Medicare. Doctors and suppliers have to meet strict standards to enroll and stay enrolled in Medicare. If your doctors or suppliers aren’t enrolled, Medicare won’t pay the claims submitted by them. So ask your supplier first in they participate in Medicare. AMZ is NOT an approved Medicare supplier. Please check locally.
Question: are small or large wheels important. what is the difference in using the scooter
Answer: The big difference with the scooter is that you don't have to use crutches!! It is so much more comfortable! I still needed crutches to use stairs, but otherwise this enabled me to go out and do things. It is painful and exhausting to use crutches. I don't think the size of the wheels make any difference.

User questions & answers

Question: I am curious to know how this walker folds up; do the sides collapse to the middle or some way else
Answer: No. You can use the scale just like a regular digital scale. When you open the app on the Measurements screen, your weight and BMI will be synced to your phone automatically so you can track your weight history.
Question: How wide is this (from handle to handle
Answer: Yes, your scale should be accurate and consistent. It should have less than 0.2 lb error margin if your weight is under 110lb, and less than 0.4 lb error margin if your weight is in the range of 110 – 220 lb. There are some common causes that may affect the accuracy and consistency. 1) The scale was not placed on a hard and flat surface when you weighed. Please do not use the scale on carpets. 2) Your scale did not zero out when you took the measurement. Please do a power on reset. Pull one battery out and put it back, and immediately place it on a hard and flat surface. Make sure your scale displays “0.0”. 3) For each measurement, please wait for your scale back to 0 then step on to measure. Please double check and try again. If the error margin is bigger than the specs, please contact our customer service at 1-800-658-1148 (M-F: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, US Central Time). We will help you resolve the issue or send you a replacement.
