Answer:	I do not know. They work quite well in the tiled wall in my walk-in shower. I especially like that they can easily be moved if needed which I needed after installing them and then after use, moved them.. Answer:	Hi Martin, in my case, I needed the bar mounted horizontally, so if my hand slipped at one point, I could slide it on across the bar. The best answer is to decide which works best for you. Even an angle mount is popular in some applications. Mine also doubles as a towel bar, so I mounted it horizontally. Now, structurally, it's going to be the same...find the stud...and if needed, use the mounting kit..(priced separately, but worth it.) Hope this helps!

Answer:	Depends on what you are installing into. Wood backing, masonary, drywall with the proper anchors. The finish rings slide on bar to expose a flange that normally will have a few mounting points. Two to three fastners per side. I prefer Toggler brand snap toggles for drywall install.
Question:	What is the wall clearance for this bar? That is the distance between the wall and the inside of the bar
Answer:	The diameter of the mounting feet cover is 3 inches. The overall length is 26 3/4" end of foot cover to end of foot cover.
Question:	What is the additional hardware needed to install on bath tile
Answer:	We just installed these last weekend, put 2 into tiled shower. Used drill bit that specified ok with tile and used caulk around screw plate under cover to keep waterproof. Special drill bit meant tiles didn't crack. Also used stud-finder to mount on studs for added security plus used inset anchors in tile walls to ensure no pull-out when grasped. Took somewhat longer than anticipated to install but when done, not worried about them coming loose or causing safety issues.

Answer:	As far as I can tell it is true to what it says "Stainless Steel". I do believe that makes it basically rust proof. The one I installed still looks new and I ALWAYS spray my whole shower with the after shower spray. The only problem I had with this hand grip was the molly bolts sent with the installation package. Did not work at all in my shower, and I used my own heavier duty mollies which really sealed it down very tight. House will fall before hand grips could come loose!

Answer:	Should work if surface is clean & flat.

Answer:	This will work like all suction cups. If the surface is not flat, smooth & clean, the suction cup will not be able to create the vacuum it needs to maintain a solid grip to the surface. Instructions: To Install: 1. Clean the mounting surface and suction cups with a damp cloth. 2. Flip levers up. 3. Press dual suction cups firmly against a smooth, flat, non porous surface. 4. Flip levers down on each end of the suction handle. 5. Check that indicator shows fully greed (not red). 6. Manually test the adhesion to the surface - if loose, reposition and re-attach. Note: Suction cops will still stick to surfaces without being locked into place, so always assure that the indicator shows fully green and manually test for adhesion prior to use. Suction handle is for balance only. Do not place full weight on it or use it to pull yourself up. To Remove: 1. Flip the levers up. 2. Lift up using tabs on suction cups to release.

Question:	Will these suction to finished wood
Answer:	I do not have marble so the surface is not the same. I live in an apartment and think the shower is some sort of polyproplene. My son put mine on the shower for me. We first cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and wiped down with paper towel. Did you prepare the surface? I have used them since November 2019 and he has had to replace both of the one time for me (at different times) . Each time, I had pushed downward as I was standing in the tub and leaned on it to wash the bottoms of my feet. Normal use of using it as an assist to get in and out does not seem to disturb the seal.
Question:	Will this work on rectangular shower tiles
Answer:	No, it can't be left on permanently. It must be removed and reattached every two weeks (according to the directions that came in the box). But I found it doesn't stay attached that long. It also says it should NOT be used as a grab bar (as stated) but only as a balance bar.
Question:	is there a suction grab bar version with a little smaller suction cups, say 2 1/2in
Answer:	yes. very strong. Attach well in the bathroom on smooth & clean surface.

Answer:	I believe the information with the bar talks about 300lbs. We have used the wingets system for mounting and they have a 600 lb limit.

Question:	I'm trying to replace an old grab bar in the shower. want to reuse existing bolt holes. how do i find right bar? end to end, or bolt to bolt
Answer:	The co supplied 12 #8 SS. screws. I used a 1/4" carbide drill bit with my hammer drill. The screws are approx. 1.5" long. After drilling the holes in the tile I used silicone RTV to seal the plugs and the screws.
Question:	Does this product have to be installed into a stud or does it come with the secure mount hardware shown in the video? Really appreciate any response

Question:	How can you attach it to a stud through tile without cracking the tile
Answer:	11.5 inches high by 5.75 inches wide. Horizontally, the center of the screw holes are 4.75 inches apart. This is a problem unless you have extra studs in your bathroom walls. I got lucky because of the extra window and plumbing support studs near my mounting location
