Answer:	It's a deceptively low heat for the far infrared pad. But if you put a blanket over it it heats up well. I did get burned one night when I fell asleep on top of it at about 105 degrees. I actually stopped using this one because of that burn and am ordering from Hammacher Schlemmer because they have lifetime returns. Not sure if it is the exact same model as this UTK or a different manufacturer. It is more costly due to the warranty. It's still enroute. I did once upon a time spend $1500. on a crushed stone full body Biomat with heat (look up Biomat) Three years of really uncomfortable hardness having to put pads over it especially when side sleeping. But I've never used a smaller heating pad with those round dot stones to know the difference.

Answer:	We actually are an authorized service center located in Howard Beach, New York. These machines should not be run more than 2 minutes at a time as the blade bearings will begin to overheat. In addition to the one year warranty there is a 3 year warranty on the motor itself. As to the machine shutting off there could be several reasons as there is a speed sensor and electronic circuit board in the machine that monitors and controls motor. Answer:	Currently using a 40 year old Waring Futura II to make my smoothies for my wife in 2014 ! It has 4 pulse speeds and 4 regular speeds. You can still get parts for these too. (They still sell on Ebay for $35. Vintage vitamix blenders all had square containers like Blendtec because Waring had the patent on the round containers !) Frank Waring invented the Blender in 1936 . Hard to tell me about longevity; this people are the "originators" of the blender and they make a superior product today. My next purchase will be another Waring blender tha is made in USA. It served my parents well for their lifetime and was passed on to me. Only reason I am considering an upgrade because I want to chop frozen items into my smoothies now.

Answer:	I wouldn't attempt to remove the lubricant from the ball bearings that are mandantory for proper operation of the blade, otherwise it would sieze up. That said, I had the same concerns with regard to a previous reviewer's comment about the black sediment. I just ran my brand new unit with hot and cold water roughly eight times now, and where I did see black specs in the water noticably on the first run, considerably less on the second and third runs, and I can't see any after the fourth or now.

Answer:	The BPA free containers are well engineered for best mixing performance and extremely durable. Also helpful are the clearly marked graduations. Although my 64 oz. container has great capacity, I use the 48 oz. container every day in my home. It is a bit easier to handle and clean and fits on my kitchen counter under the cabinets. It's easy to learn how to run with the MX and it is limited only by your imagination. Truly an incredible addition to any kitchen.

Answer:	I believe mine to truly be Jade and Tourmaline as they are both stones used by the Mescalero Apache Indians from around Ruidoso, NM area and I’ve collected a good bit of their jewelry over the years. Did you maybe clean it with something harsh? I know I did that years ago with opals. Or perhaps these stones are only supposed to last a short period of time given what they are used for. Normally those stones aren’t heated daily. The only other thing I can think of is if you are moving yours around a lot, especially when hot. In any event, if it’s new ask for a replacement. They are too excited not to last a good number of years.
