Answer:	These have not ripped, but I’ve only had them for a month. My old ones gave out (and did come apart in the back) after 2 years of hard wear and three washings 😉

Question:	How easy is it to clean and how frequently does it need to be cleaned
Answer:	It can be attached to a liter soda bottle. The red protrusion from that end that can be seen in the manufacturers pics is the inlet covered with what appears to be a push fit plastic cap. They come in a sealed plastic bag that I don't want to open till I need the filter. It's probable that some sized hose will fit the inlet when the red plastic cap is removed.
Question:	I don't see in the description where it says it filters out fluoride. That is the biggie for me so curious. I know some Berkeys do just not sure about

Answer:	From what I can see, yes... One goes into the refrigerator itself on the back wall and the other above the refrigerator behind the grill ... I change about once a year as I have filtered water as the source for the refrigerator.
Question:	Why is the product Not for sale in California or Iowa
Answer:	Your product should be alright. The water filter is a closed container with a carbon insert, and a cap on to protect the interior. Wipe it off and it is ready to go. The air purifier works by pulling air through the material inside. It is easily protected by the cardboard packaging. You can wipe the dust off, and install it. Should not cause any problem. I did not recall the rattles. I happened to have the last one I replaced since I have not taken it to discard at the local environmental center yet. I shook it and it did rattle. Sounded like some miniature metal balls a bit smaller than the BBs you use to shoot in your Red Rider bb gun when you had a GREAT Christmas years ago. Go ahead and install it and mark your calendar to replace it again in one year. This is about the 14th time I have gone through the process and I think they are very good products.

Answer:	I don't have the green finish. Mine is white and the glossy finish is very easy to clean. It does not stain.

Answer:	It's inner liner is glass, so I would say yes. The outside is made of a high quality plastic and there was no information with it to indicate it was bpa free.

Care and Use for Push-Lever Lid Carafes

Remove lid (A) by twisting counterclockwise.

Wash all parts separately, then re-assemble. See complete Care and Use document included in the Product Information section for washing instructions. Ensure gaskets (if present) are properly seated to minimize leaking.

Fill container with contents. Do not overfill: Leave space for the lid (A) to avoid overflow.

Replace lid (A) by twisting clockwise. Depress the push-lever (A1) 2 to 3 times to release pressure.

To pour, securely grip handle (B) and press push-lever (A1). Tilt product and pour contents through spout (A2).

Bring product to an upright position and release push-lever (A1) to close.
