Answer:	I have the same clock with the same problem. The sensor worked for a couple of weeks and then just stopped. Company has removed the ability to leave a message and does not answer this number. I have not been able to contact them or even find an address, email or physical, to contact them in writing. I contacted Sharp, because their name is on it, and they really don't care or have anything useful to offer other than the same phone number that hasn't been working since at least March 2020 when I first started trying to contact them. Don't waste time or money on the absolute garbage clock from Sharp, Model SPC1107. It's not really a Sharp product , and there's no way to ever get any help WHEN (not if) it fails. The only fix for this junk clock is to simply not own one.

Answer:	The clock is 1-7/8 inches thick as mounted on the wall. So, depends on your idea of what is "extremely thin". I have it mounted on a wall diagonally next to a window and it does not appeal to be obtrusive. The adjoining wall has many mounted photographs (professional) so the clock does not stand out at all. Answer:	So long as it is not exposed to rain. Direct sunlight could affect any electronics. And you would have the 'outdoor ' sensor which you could use indoors if you wanted to. Depending upon your climate extremes of heat or cold eventually affect all electronics. Should work with those caveats.

Answer:	If you go to their website, they have instructions for different roblems with their products. If you don't find an answer to your question there, you can also speak live to someone at lacrosse. I'm not familiar with this problem with this clock, but when I had problems resetting after a battery change with their weather station, this was my experience.

Answer:	You can eliminate most of the sound by carefully opening the clock and snipping the second hand with a nail clipper. I did this when my old La Crosse clock was failing because, inexplicably, the second hand was scraping against the face and one of the other hands. It got really quiet after that. The only noise left is the occasional reset that sweeps the minute and hour arms when the time needs to be corrected (it's very rare).

Answer:	No, it is an aluminum alloy frame. Not magnetic.
Question:	Is the glass cover over the clock face flat or convex
Answer:	It was flat, but the hands did not point correctly. It stopped working after some hours. I have now given it away to someone to see if can be used somehow.

Answer:	Yes, the frame rests flush against the wall.
Question:	does this clock have a plastic cover or glass
Answer:	The units we have in stock are glass, but it's a very thin glass. We have had a few shatter in the past.

Answer:	It can be read very easily although it doesn’t have a backlight during daytime hours. It is your basic black digits/letters on your basic grey LCD background. Hope this helps.

Question:	If the room complete darkness. Does the backlight stay on throughout
Answer:	The back light is useless but it does stay on in darkness. The back light is so dim, you cannot read in an almost dark room. Marathon does not respond to emailed questions. The advertising picture is a phony. To make the clock readable in darkness, I made a bracket with led's to light the front of the clock. so I can read it at night. The only good thing I can say is that it does keep accurate time.
