Answer:	It doesn't specifically say if it is biodegradable so to be safe, I'd just put it in the recycling. Given that the box is natural craft it's possible that the cardboard is compostable, but you'd have to rip out the PVC window, which is definitely NOT biodegradable.

Answer:	These are basically bakery boxes, they don’t seal and are not airtight, I do not think they would be good for preserving anything in the freezer for more than a couple days. I think much more than that and the food would be freezer burnt. They are good for sending baked goods home with people for a bake sale or party.
