Answer:	Ha! Funny you should ask this. I had the same question and submitted it to FLIR tech support. I got back the answer that you could. But my question was, would doing it harm the device? My second question never received an answer. I have verified that yes, the FLIR will charge from pocketjuice and can be used at the same time. Whether or not it diminishes the onboard battery's life I cannot say. I am inclined to say no, it shouldn't harm it. There is an app that uses the camera as a baby monitor. I cannot see how that would be feasible without having the camera on an external power source. So the answer is yes, if you are using the camera while plugged into a external charger, it will extend the use time. I cannot 100% guarantee that it is not harmful but think not.

Answer:	Stone Fix is NOT designed for slate. Since slate is an oily stone.

Answer:	If the floor is flat and level you could do it. This product is self leveling and it does not set up fast, so if your floor is uneven some spots will be thin and others will be thicker. The other factor is temperature. This stuff likes it warm if it says apply 70 to 80 deg they mean it. The bubbles release better. That brings up another thing to consider when applying, will you be able to reach the center of the floor to release the bubbles that form? There will be bubbles. Answer:	The gallon kit will cover 12 sq ft according to the brochure. That’s 1/2 gallon of part A and 1/2 gallon of part B. That’s misleading if you are using super clear liquid glass because it is mixed 2 to 1

Answer:	From my understanding, live stream only works with apple products which have Flir Tools installed- Flir works horribly with android devices. A wired connection to a computer is needed for the computer. A third party screen record app on the computer should work without an issue.

The moisture would likely need to be on the backside of the drywall to be detected. It will also need to be a different temperature than the drywall.

Answer:	You can run it through an aux send just like you would any other powered monitor or aux hook up. This essentially becomes it's own monitor amp alleviating the need to use an additional power source.

Answer:	No, the pass through volume is not affected. The volume pots just affect the headphone out volumes.

Answer:	I don't see why not, make sure the surface is clean and dry and free of polish/wax. Dishsoap can probably help take care of that.

Answer:	The cracks I’ve repaired are by my sink, so I cannot say for certain. But I would expect placing anything from the oven on even a hardened repair would be a bad idea. My guess would be it would melt, best case, might smudge the repair, worse case, wreck the repair and your pan.

Question:	How well does this work for finding shorts on circuit boards
Answer:	EXTREMELY GOOD. Turn off MSX mode (Multi Spectral Imaging) i.e. make it "pure thermal" mode, (A simple screen tap) and it'll close focus down to a few inches. Not only finding shorts, but various heated or overheated components. It's fantastic for tuning transmitters, as you can watch transistors and even tuning coils and literally tune visually. (Things run cooler when transmitter tuning is properly setup/matched) It's especially helpful for large RF amplifiers with parallel transistors because you can see when they're in balance. Tuning those with a FLIR is like setting dimmer switches on a bank of light bulbs. (Except the dimmers, are of course, tuning capacitors and coils)

Answer:	if the mole hides in the hole in daytime ,the infrared camera cannot detect them ,because the thermal imager cant measure the temp of the mole through the soil , once they come out to destroy the plants in night ,it will be detected immediately .
Question:	How well will this detect critters in walls or attics, such as snakes or mice
Answer:	Not at all. Unfortunately it will not image like an X-ray. It will image based on what it reads as the surface temperature and radiated heat. A critter wouldn’t generate enough heat to go through drywall let alone wood or brick/mortar.
Question:	just curious, since this is obviously infrared...what would it be used most for , for most people
Answer:	Although it can't see through glass or walls, it can detect heated areas and give you a heads up on electrical shorts, water leaks, etc. It also comes in handy to locate a lost pet who snuck outside when you weren't looking. Shows heat leaks from home when used outdoors

Answer:	It can help determine if a closer look is required.
Question:	Will this find an active heat source in 3.5” thick cement slab
Answer:	The thermal imager detects the temperature difference to display the temperature difference. The 3.5" cement will isolate the heat, and the camera cannot penetrate the cement to measure the temperature difference.
Question:	Will this camera detect body heat like a normal thermal imager, for like say....finding missing victims
Answer:	Like all informed experts will tell you "It Depends". Infrared imagers show differential temperature, so the "environment" has to be a different temperature than the human body. If its 98.6 degrees out, or if the "Victim" has cooled down to ambient, you aren't going to see squat.
Question:	Does this model have or is there a model with hdvr? still images are great, however video is best. would really like to try this for this old house
Answer:	This model does not. I don’t know about others but I suspect if there is one it will be more expensive. Check FLIR.
