Answer:	Ha! Funny you should ask this. I had the same question and submitted it to FLIR tech support. I got back the answer that you could. But my question was, would doing it harm the device? My second question never received an answer. I have verified that yes, the FLIR will charge from pocketjuice and can be used at the same time. Whether or not it diminishes the onboard battery's life I cannot say. I am inclined to say no, it shouldn't harm it. There is an app that uses the camera as a baby monitor. I cannot see how that would be feasible without having the camera on an external power source. So the answer is yes, if you are using the camera while plugged into a external charger, it will extend the use time. I cannot 100% guarantee that it is not harmful but think not.

Answer:	EXTREMELY GOOD. Turn off MSX mode (Multi Spectral Imaging) i.e. make it "pure thermal" mode, (A simple screen tap) and it'll close focus down to a few inches. Not only finding shorts, but various heated or overheated components. It's fantastic for tuning transmitters, as you can watch transistors and even tuning coils and literally tune visually. (Things run cooler when transmitter tuning is properly setup/matched) It's especially helpful for large RF amplifiers with parallel transistors because you can see when they're in balance. Tuning those with a FLIR is like setting dimmer switches on a bank of light bulbs. (Except the dimmers, are of course, tuning capacitors and coils)

Answer:	I would say no! The spot on wall may show a difference in wall surface temperature but distinguishing this as a cat is unlikely.

Answer:	Yes. The unit works like a handheld “camera” with an internal storage. Take your images edit settings, review images on screen, etc. The WiFi option has two modes: 1) direct connect to handheld device (I.e. iPad) using device own antenna or 2) connect to hone WiFi network and to a device (I.e. iPad)

Answer:	Should be able to detect the heat from the cat depending on how close to fiberglass.

Answer:	I have not seen that application. If the larvae is under water, the IR camera would not work. If it is above water and has a different temperature than the water, it could be seen.

Answer:	It’s a good product! The range is pretty good out to about 100-200 yards and maybe a little further depending on how open the area you are looking at is. A far as Bigfoot goes? Answer:	Although they don't tout the Scout TK for that purpose I see no reason it shouldn't work for that use since it can detect the heat of a man at 100 yards. FLIR markets this primarily for use on the trail because of its light weight, ruggedness and small size.

Answer:	Well, we've used these indoors (temperatures in the 70's) and are easily able to see human body heat in comparison (98.6), so I think this would work for your intended purpose.

Question:	Is this essentially the same camera as the tg165 but with extra features that make it good for moisture
Answer:	Not at all, the thermal imager is so so. But the true benefit is the ability to read the moisture content of material and to have all your customized readings on the screen at all times, including relative humidity, ambient air, etc. I have the 176 which does probe testing and also has a pad on the back of the unit, this pad lets you pull a reading without destructive measures (awesome for general walk arounds)! Can't remember what the other models offered, but I am happy with the 176. Great for mold and home inspections. I do also have an additional flir thermal imager. I definitely recommend one with MSX technology. The difference is unreal! Good Luck.

Answer:	I would get the MR176 because the Thermal Imager may pick up the steam and the change in temperature, not just look for moisture.

Answer:	From my understanding, live stream only works with apple products which have Flir Tools installed- Flir works horribly with android devices. A wired connection to a computer is needed for the computer. A third party screen record app on the computer should work without an issue.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend going with a higher resolution, more sensitive unit such as the FLIR T530.
Question:	Will it image a moisture issue behind drywall - leaking drain pipe
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. The FLIR E6 would be an excellent choice for finding moisture. We sell a lot of cameras for that exact application. The moisture would likely need to be on the backside of the drywall to be detected. It will also need to be a different temperature than the drywall.
