Question:	Can this be used in a dc application? for example switch charging my battery from solar or shore power
Answer:	On the Bosch auto parts website, Bosch fuel pump # 67305 is the pump for your 2002 GMC 6-cylinder with evap emission controls. Part # 67429 is without evap emission control. When I removed my factory original it looked nothing like the AC-Delco replacement which was made in Mexico. The Bosch is a true plug and play, all other will require you to splice your wires. Bosch is made in USA.
Question:	It has a label that says 240v / 2.5a ith=63a. what does 2.5a mean
Answer:	Some of the companies I believe build the entire fuel pump assemblies under their name but the actual motors are not their brand. I ended up not being able to use it because when I dropped the gas tank the assembly had sat in old has too long and corroded beyond just trying to swap the motor part alone. It didn't appear to be an exact fit without modifying something so I just bought the whole assembly within a few bucks and resold the "Bosch"one Someone could have swapped out a broken one for a new one and returned it as new at some point as well if the bag looks torn open
