Answer: | I bought the caliper when we were at our home in Tampa FL and left it there so I can't look at the dial, but I do not remember it saying shockproof.I am satisfied with the operation and accuracy of the instrument. Do you mean electrically shockproof? It is metal and surely if exposed to a wire with voltage on it you could be shocked. If you are worried about the utility of the tool in a rough physical environment I would say it is fairly shockproof that way. Does the product description say it is "shockproof". And even if so it would not necessarily have to have that written or stamped on the instrument. |

Answer: | There is no time frame on the certificate that comes with the tool. It just states that the tool was good when it left the factory. If you are needing a specific time frame "certification" with additional information you would have to purchase the item w/ a long form certification. |
