Answer:	I use these for my bookshelf speakers which cut vibration on the cabinets of the speaks which also cuts sound distortion. As far as using them on a treadmill they may cut vibration down enough to cut the sound I really don’t know though. The only way to find out is try them.

Answer:	Yes, I suppose you could. I put one under the washer and one under the dryer. It reduced the noise that was coming from the dryer. I'll say that it helps, but it has not completely reduced the vibrations or the movements of my washing machine. Answer:	It's been I while since I set mine in place, but I don't remember any lingering smell. There's certainly no smell now. The material this is made of is not like other rubber mats I have seen -- it's very dense and heavy. Maybe that affects its lack of smell.

Question:	How much height does this add
Answer:	There is about an inch clearance between the bottom of my dryer pedestal and the mat. The exhaust hose sets just off of the mat at the rear of the dryer. We have been using the mats for about a year and a half now with no issues. We have front loaders on pedestals and they both are staying put. Great product.

Question:	Will this work as a gasket seal against water
Answer:	I’m considering gluing it as well... I think the best cement to use would be a 3M car trim adhesive. It comes in a spray or tube, and you coat both sides like a contact cement. Question:	Can I glue this to the bottom of iron wrought rocker runners? If so, what kind of glue do I need
Answer:	I would not recommend this product for outside use, especially where it is exposed to direct sunlight. I used mine inside and it became brittle and broke after first use.
Question:	Is it durable for outdoor use to seal a spa deck? Does it come in a longer roll
Answer:	Because of the thickness I doubt it.
Question:	could I stich/attach a zipper to this somehow
Answer:	3/4 of an inch.
