Make sure the rear wheels are locked and the front wheels are blocked so they don't move. I strongly you get scaffolding or a ladder for those jobs that are that high off the ground.

Answer:	The hydraulic is sealed with oil rings I guess. If the oil ring is not properly placed, yes it will leak. This lift cart is built with heavy duty materials but I guess they manufacture them with less quality assurance.

Question:	Will this work on a 4 post eagle lift
Answer:	I am not sure if it will work on a 4 post as I have a 2 post Rotary lift . But be careful when receiving item It is not packaged very well for such a heavy item! So refuse the shipment because I had to fix damages myself as Amazon and the company would not help me
Question:	I have a 3/8 hose currently what do I need to make this fit into this pump unit be specific with what type of fittings
Answer:	Take original pump hose, and new pump output presure fitting to your local hydraulic hose repair facilty. New pump is metric, standard fitting one end of hose and metric on the other. Do not use old pressure hose as part of the build. You may require it in the future.
Question:	Will this work on a 4 post eagle lift
Answer:	I do not know about a 4 post lift. I have a two post and this unit works GREAT!!!! Love it.
Question:	How much weight can it lift
Answer:	There's no answer to your question, only an explanation of how hydraulic pumps work. the pump forces fluid from the reservoir through the output and then to the lift cylinders. Based on the pressure rating (or adjusted pressure) of the pump, the size of the cylinder(s) it's feeding, how much fluid is available in the reservoir, and how long you're willing to wait is what determines how much weight this pump will 'lift'. If this pump makes say 2000 PSI, and you have a 1in² cylinder x2, then this pump will supply the working fluid capable of lifting 4,000 lb at the rated 2000 PSI.

Answer:	I don't know that. But it lifts vehicles as fast as the original motor. And easily installed. Watch the fittings, they make some things universal, which is a good thing, but the threads on some of my old motor are different where the hydraulic hose connects. So I used the one they sent with it. You can't beat it for the price. I've had mine a week, if I get a few years out of the China made motor, I'll be satisfied.

Question:	Would this unit be able to be operated independently? How much muscle is required for the hydraulic and is it reachable for someone already in sling
Answer:	One person can handle the lift if he can use two hands. We have a carpeted floor that hinders movement but nevertheless, at age 77 and in fairly good shape, I can load, move, and unload the patient (my wife) with relative ease. If your mention of the sling refers to your arm, you may have some difficulty, particularly negotiating corners.
Question:	Does this item require any assembly
Answer:	It comes in 3 pieces, the boom, the legs, and the handle and 2 screws to hold it together. It takes longer to unpack it than to put it together.
Question:	will this device get my husband off the floor after a fall
Answer:	This works very well for picking a patient up from the floor...i know because i would fall often and being picked up was too painful...so we used a rectangular sling with loops or grommets to put under me and it was easy, for my husband ( 72 yrs old and still strong ) or for my son..now we use it to lift me from chair, bed, and if you have a net sling you can push it into a roll in shower or onto a shower chair...look on youtube, theres good instructions on there...best wishes 😊
