If you have 1 ml of product to inject, I would recommend a larger capacity syringe so you don't have to pull it to the very end. My rule of thumb is that the amount of product should not be more than half the capacity. This way I don't have to pull the plunger back all the way. Most of the syringes I have seen are similar length. It is just the diameter that differs, depending on the capacity of the syringe.
