Answer:	In my opinion, no. It's rated for what it is made to do, that may overload it. They make multiple outlet surge protectors,I would go that way, I do.

Question:	So, how is this better than any other 10 amp surge protector that is sold for one-half the price
Answer:	I bought it to use on my electric garage door opener. Unlike a normal surge protector that is supposed to absorb a power spike, the Lavamatic interrupts the current flow for three seconds before it allows power to return to the appliance. During that three seconds, supposedly the power spike has subsided. Garage door operators have sensitive circuitry that, I guess, is very easily damaged by power spikes just like washing machine mother boards. The mother board in my top of the line Genie garage door opener costs $200 to replace. So far, in nearly a year, our garage door is still working. That's the thing with gadgets like this, you never know if they're working since they quietly go about their business and never reveal if they've been called upon to do their job.

Answer:	I'm not sure. I've had mine for a while now and no longer have the packaging. The instructions printed on the device are in English & French, but there are no other markings. If I had to make a guess though I'd say China for 2 reasons. First is the price. It's pretty inexpensive compared to name brand or big box store appliance protectors. Second, it's not UL or CE Listed. Despite having said all that, it works very well. The power in my area is very "dirty" the voltage swings up and down a lot, sometimes dropping or rising outside of the +/- 5% tolerance range. I have all of my electronics on surge protectors, but I never thought of the appliances. The control board in my new washer burned out twice in 4 months because of the power fluctuation. In the 6 months I've been using this I've had no problems with my washer.

Answer:	I would say yes, buy the hose. It comes with a sturdy plastic “hose” that is about 2’ long and connects to the rear vent. It stays close to the unit and does not move “out/away” like the silver hose would to reach your outside vent. I was very easily able to attach a flexible hose to the unit’s hose and it works great. It also comes with a flat, thin board that is to assist should you want to mount your unit to a wall; works like a spacer as it cannot attach to wall without space due to vent. It works well for me!

Answer:	The TC5 performs like an old school Speed Queen that everyone knows and loves, in fact mechanically, it’s similar to SQ washers made a decade ago. It has a transmission and the agitator is what does the work to clean your cloths. The TR line (3,5,7) don’t have a transmission and it just swishes the cloths around. The agitator is locked with the drum so they both move at the same time. The results are poorly washed cloths unless it’s very light clothing that is not very dirty. Go with the TC5 if you want your cloths clean. Also watch some independent You Tube videos reviews of both models and you’ll see what I mean.

Answer:	I am not sure if this would work but cover them with dryer sheets before use. Charcoal has been used to remove smell. Crush a couple briquettes in an old sock on them before use. There is also pet urine spray that may work. Just thoughts.

Answer:	While this product is great for my use, I would doubt it would do much to reduce the noise in your neighbor's apartment from your treadmill. I'd suggest maybe putting the treadmill on a thick exercise mat or some garden kneeling pads.
