I'm happy with mine, although the picture for mine showed it had a flat top, and mine has two small bumps that protrude--although only a very little bit. These might provide stability in some situations, don't pose a problem in most, but I'd have peferred that the top be flat. |

| Answer: | I have a similar jack used as the power ram for a press. I mounted it right side up and let the ram push against the top bar of the press frame and let the body of the jack rest on the movable press part. If you search for "hydraulic press" and get pictures of the smaller "home shop" style presses, you can see many that are set up that way. Mine works really well. Keeps the cost down because you can use an inexpensive bottle jack like this one rather than a purpose built hydraulic ram made to work inverted. |
