Answer:	Both sides have the same pseudo-nut with a cotter pin through it. I didn't disassemble my hand truck to look at it more carefully. I suggest you take off the remaining nut and cotter pin and take it to a hardware store to get a replacement. They should have something that fits, and you'll have this working again quickly. I'm not sure I understand how you managed to knock the cotter pin out and lose the nut under normal use, though. Last suggestion: contact the manufacturer who might be willing to provide a replacement. I would start with your local store first, taking in the remaining pin and possibly the axle.

Answer:	Yup. They do. The day after I placed a pair in the trough between the pavement and the entrance to my driveway we had an unusually heavy thunderstorm that lasted about half-an-hour. The next day when I walked up the driveway with a third piece the first two were gone. My initial reaction was that they had been stolen. Nope. They were sitting next to each other about 20 feet down the hill. Apparently, water that runs in the low area between the pavement and the curb in heavy rain had moved them. This surprised me because they weigh about 50 pounds each, but a seemingly small amount of water can be very powerful. They each have four holes that can be used with concrete bolts to anchor them in place.

Answer:	Hello... It's simple, really; just requires a little more strength than one might expect. Securely holding the hand truck upright (as shown in picture), simply press down on the metal bottom plate to unfold it down toward the floor. It does require some force at least at first, which I imagine will loosen up a bit the more it is folded/unfolded. As the metal bottom plate is opened, the wheels will automatically unfold as the plate is lowered into place.

I did find the handle a little difficult to latch when turning it into a horizontal platform--the holes were difficult to line up. Still, I was so glad to have it for my move.

Answer:	Good question. Mine slips down the street and changes angle when it slips. Usually once a week I go out and pull them back into place and adjust the angle. I rotate one end of the ramp until the top of the ramp is level to the top of the driveway. I go to the other side of the ramp and do the same thing. The ramp is long and heavy so it is hard to adjust at one end only. FYI there are hole in mine. I suspect you can drive a large nail through the ramp into tarmack. Concrete would need drilling before nail could be put through the ramp, into the ground. I live in an HOA housing area so I leave mine loose in case they are found to be inappropriate for our HOA.

Question:	When this is set up as a horizontal platform, what is the actual usable length, i.e., between the base and vertical handle
Answer:	it's 30" between the base and vertical handle - in platform position.
Question:	get the pins to stay on the wheels. I am not sure how to open the pin where it will be secured to prevent the wheel from coming off. Thank you
Answer:	The pin needs to be opened a little bit first by inserting a screw diver in between and prying the pin apart. Then use pointed pliers and pinch the pin together and insert it into the hole of the steel rod (axel). Once in, split the pin open and bend it backwards to prevent the wheel from coming off.
Question:	Does the handle have to be completely removed and re-inserted to covert to platform use or does it fold
Answer:	The handle has to be completely removed and reinserted, it does not fold

Question:	What size are the small swivel casters (wheel and diameter of the bolt, please)? It looks like I should order better ones to replace them as mentioned
Answer:	I put 3 inch casters on it. The important thing is to get a caster with a long stem. If memory serves me well I believe it needs to be 1 1/2" long. All the casters in the 2 to 3 inch range have the same stem size. I got mine from tractor supply. I got the ones that were rubber not hard plastic. It makes it alot quieter.

Answer:	I was missing a caster (3"). Harper is sending a replacement. I'm guessing the wheels are 6".

Answer:	No, none of the wheels can be locked.

Answer:	I have had mine for 5 years and I really don't remember - I can say this however, I am legally blind and did not require any assistance upon receiving to use the hand truck. It has served me well.
Question:	Is pneumatic or flat free a better choice in tires
Answer:	I have had both styles. I much prefer the flat free. the outgassing (smell of rubber) of the inflatable tires never went away. you do not have to worry about the tires being underinflated or deflated when you are using the hand truck.

Answer:	The 300 pound capacity is probably sufficient. But the flat base of the hand truck is rather small, might not be large enough to be stable for such a bulky item. I use mine for much smaller items, such as 50 pound bags of dog food, and its great. Lightweight but sturdy.
