Question:	I hear that the bearings and wheel are good but can i get this wheel in a alum. or metal rim
Answer:	Yes. I put this on my old craftsman. It’s a good quality hand wheel but its a bit small in diameter to get good leverage raising the blade when things get all dusted in there. I used this wheel for a month or so then I came up with a great trick. I hammered deep well sockets onto both shafts where the hand wheels go (mine are perfect with one 12mm and the other 13mm). I keep a spare cordless drill with a socket adapter in it at the saw. It works perfectly. Even without the drill the ratchet is way easier than a hand wheel. I recommend giving this trick a try. I absolutely love it and will definitely never go back to hand wheels.
